Help Needed With Propagation Setup

Im starting my first grow soon but before I begin can anyone suggest the perfect lighting, propagation and ph up/down units and nutrients.

PLEASE BARE IN MIND THAT IM ONLY HAVE DIFFICULTIES WITH THE VEGETATION/CLONING STAGE.

Their are many sites to purchase from but I intend to keep my clones in a small cupboard which measures at Height=60cm,Width=100cm, Depth=25cm.

Im just concerned about the lighting as I dont want the clones to be burnt or the area to be too hot. Ive been told to have a warm white and a cool white fluorescent tubes next to each other. (im not sure how far apart the lighting system should be to the clones or mother plant).

Please can someone suggest a suitable lighting solution?

Oh and Im from the U.K. so if anyone is aware of any specific lighting systems from U.K. based websites that would be excellent.

You'll want the fluoros around an inch away from the top of the prop'... I clone beneath MH, so i cannot really advise on type of spectrum for fluoro's.

Hey, you got a lot of other questions though... what do you mean up and down units? I'm assuming you mean of measurement? I don't use any nutes on clones... there are others that do, i have never needed them and therefore don't see the need.

I can help you with many things, but i can see you ONLY need help for the vegetative and cloning stages... lol. You don't ask much, do you.

spectrums of 5000K to 6500K is what you want for vegging

I'm from the UK too... try ebay.

Fluoros for clones. Unless you're super cool like Skunk, which is an impossibility. If you you do decide to use nutes on clones, start with 1/4 strength. As for propogation, i suggest a tupperware/rubbermaid container, rockwool starter cubes, and ain air pump with an airstone. Easy, cheap, small, you're welcome.

i suggest making a clone bucket, i made one and had great luck.

get a 5 gallon bucket with gasketed lid. also get some neoprene collars and cut holes in the lid slightly smaller then the neoprene. then go on ebay and get a ultrasonic single head fogger that comes with a float. fill the bucket with ur favorite nutrients, plop in the fogger and float, run the cord threw an extra hole in your lid and then plug her in... your clones will root in 7 days, nasa has proven propigation with dry fog is better then aeroponics or any other system. works like a charm and is inexpensive to make it...could even upgrade to a tub and expand up to 100 sites

what are u using for nutes??? i was using fox farms... but friend have excellent luck with advanced nutrients.. i saw youtube videos of it destroying competition in grow comparisons....

We dont have fox farm in UK, Im using Biobizz soils & nutes but Id like to try out Canna coco & nutes.
