Hi i have an autoflower northern lights and its flowering, the hairs are amber and there are lots of crystals and stuff. Its just a lot of the hairs are going very amber so i dont know if i should harvest. The buds look good, i only have a magnifying glass to check the trichomes and i cant fully see the colour, i know they arent amber though. However im also worried about mold because i grow in one of those small crappy plastic greenhouse, well anyway when i smell my plant it smells kind off odd, musty i guess. I cannot see mold. When i stroke my hands on the buds they smell lemony and nice so i dont know where the moldy smell is coming from.I must say that the smell does seem strong near the buds when i put my nose near them, but touching them and smelling is different. Anyway here are the pictures. im not a full time grower or care about HUGE harvest , i just want some quite potent weed.

It could be any number of reasons. Take some better pictures of the leaves themselves, post up some more info, like what your feeding and when, temp/humidity, soil used, etc and you might get some answers.

If your tent is dripping with water you need a dehumidifier badly.... do you have a humidity/temp gauge? Your humidity should be no more than 40% give or take a few when your buds start showing.... but from what I see your a good 2 to 4 weeks out.... but hard to tell from your pics.... Mabie you could get some better pics :)

Looks like nitrogen deficiency or some type of micro lockout. Did she finish stretching already? When you flip to flower, some strains especially sativa strains will demolish a good portion of nitrogen in the first 2-4 weeks. Do the internodes look shorter up top vs the bottom? Take some very clear pics, if you are using a phone lean against a wall hold you're breath and snap a photo if you have to.

Your plant, is in the stage of early flowering. Say day 20 of 12/12.

The problems, plural are this -

Your plant is shaped like a Christmas tree. Absolute least efficient way to grow.

Second. The plant is DYING for more light.

Third. Get the humidity down now or forget about it. Below 50 chief. Dripping, = mold.

Fourth shes difficient in some ways however its early.

Give her proper HID lighting. Bring temps to 26< and rh at 50< and a good dose of some bloom and maybe some veg nutes because as someone said. It is nitrogen difficient. But thats the least of your worries. Long way to go, but you can save her. Good luck. bongsmilie

And no disrespect to anyone else, its my 2 cents. However satire is hard to convey in text.....:peace:

Its an auto. No topping. Some autos don't take well to LST. It also can be sensitive to nutes.

By the way, the greenhouse i grow in is always dripping with the condensation
Are you indoors or outdoors?

many ways to grow an even canopy in an auto. super simple. Autos can also have the fuck lst'd out of them. So.. no.

Your correct maybe 10% dont like lst ......

Yes some plants are also sensitive to nutes...

Lol.. Why did you quote me?

He's new. I quoted you because without clarification a new person might make mistakes is all. Just not to go full bore. Ease into training and feeding.

i cant buy anything more, you should realise i would be content with the harvest of buds which are on it right now, but all im asking is how do i know if its mold, the smell is quite musty but when i touch it it smells fine on my fingers

Remove that damn green house. Dude you won't even answer simple questions . it should be etiquette to list your medium, lights? Indoors? Out doors? Is it cold there? Why use a green house it hold moisture. Its not rocket science. If you don't want to listen and learn something the peace out.

Then to answer you. At the RH% you have now, mold will not only grow on your plant, but in side your tent. Drop rh live. Or you will lose it to bud rot. Clean away all dead tissue at the base, no dead leaves etc. Fan, get one asap, blow the shit out of them. You can never really give it enough air movement. Fix that issue and you should be able to rock out with your cock out. :eyesmoke:

Note* You say you want potent harvest. You will generally not see as high thc content in autos then pure or hybrid sativa/indica.

You also need to hit the ground running from seed to produce potent bud. Temp differentials are crucial. Theirs alot of info on "more potent bud"

nutes
sups
e.c or ppm
