HELP ON 4x amnesia haze 960w marshydro led on 120x120x200

Hello everyone,
I am new to this and by new I mean first time ever trying to grow anything , looking for as much help and advice as possible.

So after spending a considerable amount of time on this forum I chose the following equipment wich I ordered all from amazon ( the tent will arrive in 10 days wich really sets me back a week on this whole thing).

120x120x200
6" fan rhino carbon filter
960w led Mars hydro
4x 8.5l hydroponic pots
On coco can


Also purchased

Duty timer
Humidity and thermometer
Ph meter

Npk fertiliser
Ph down ph up
Canna coco A&B
Optic foliar overgrown

Seeds from royal queen seeds
Going with 4 plants for a start

Have I missed anything ?
How should I aproach it ?
How much light exposure on the first 3 weeks ?
After that should I run 12/12?

Gosh I have no idea what I am doing

Ps : my gf suffers of an avm wich causes her to have numerous seizures during the day she had as many as 50 without weed and as little as 0 with it
She goes thru a score a day or if you prefer 2 ounces a month so clearly growing our own now .
Please help

Hey!i would germinate more then four in case some are nfg. Also it may be worth while to get a 100W daylight cfl for the first three weeks. Maybe more then 18hrs per day of light. I have had good results with a heating pad under the germination tray.

Definitely getting a 6500k cfl
For the first 3 weeks
Was told so by some
Well known members
The seeds are from royal queen seeds
And they are all feminised seeds
Do you reckon I should still germinate more than 4 ?
Amnesia haze grows huge from what I heard so on my tent how many should I plan for ?

pop 6 at a time. take it day by day. keep things simple, your growing a weed.

You could pop more than 4 if you are OK ending up with extras, or not, if you're OK with possibly running fewer than four plants at a time.
In that tent with Amnesia I'd probably run 12/12 from seed, or at least two weeks after germination, so they don't get too tall by the time they are ready. I wouldn't feel any pressure to pop more than you intend to grow, but that's your call.

What would you do
I heard if I put to many plants it might just affect the yield and ending up having as much dry weight than with less
I am nobble is my first grow ever
So your opinion will mean a lot

I would go with a smaller number to start out with, personally. More plants means more potential problems. I don't have strong feelings either way. I ran one plant my first time. I ran four the next, I then scaled back to two plants per cycle, but I'm only growing for myself. One day I will run a SOG with 9 plants of the same strain, but not for a while.

But if I go with less and I end up with problems won't I have less chances to fix it ? Like 2 plants go wrong out of 4 and then I still have 2 ? ( by the way that 's why I set my mind up for 4 ) not a greedy thing

Sure, there's that side of it too. But let's say you run 4 and end up with mites, for instance. Then you've hosed 4 plants instead of 2 (or six instead of four) - it depends on what sort of space and flexibility you have for quarantine and any number of other factors. I think 4 is a reasonable number, but maybe you want 6. Like I said, I don't have a dog in this fight, just offering my limited perspective on it. I look forward to seeing your progress.

So received everything and
Listened to everyone here
And I decided to go with soil

However doing a little test

Put 2 seeds in cotton and water
And 2 straight in party cups

Need to mythbust this figure out what's the difference if any !

Did this at 13:40 today
Will be keepin track of this first grow
Like the IRS keeps track of all of your income and expenses
Pretty tight

Hopefully they will pop quickly
Dam this is exciting
I already feel hooked up to growing

imho your way too anal about simple shit. You have no guarantee that what you pop will be a viable healthy female, iwon't even delve into the possibilities of that open ended issue,however you need to be having fun with this or try something else dude. Find out what works for you, not what works for joes shmoe from kokomo. Think about it.....this is your grow,your gear.....take some time and get everything set up the way YOU want it, take pictures. If at that point you have issues we'll be here waiting!

So today 3 of the 4 seeds popped out of the soil ( they were all started on the 28th )

The 2 that were put straight into soil seem to be doing better


Then the 2 that were put to soak in water first then transfered into soil only one has popped yet

The 3 that popped are going under the cfl light for a 18/6 cycle at the end of today
( or should I wait a bit more ? )

The 2 on the back are the ones that got soaked first

And yep I named them

Looking great so far! I agree with michael hunter about starting them off on a 12/12 immediately only based on what i have read about sativa dominant strains especially Hazes. The plants wont flower till they show gender anyway. Granted i have only grown two sativa dominant plants ever and even that is speculatory due to the fact that they were random bag seed.
I had just picked up my mars 700W for this grow and i am loving it! I will be in week three of 12/12 as of tuesday and the plants are already showing lots of hairs on the colas so flowering is well under way.
Lots of growth under my led light. I ran a 600W hps prior and still use it to veg.

Keep up the good work though! Lets see the rest of your set up!

Hey sorry I forgot to update

Here is the new set up

So 5 amnesia and 5 power flower

I am loving the led I can bring it so close to the girls that the internodes stay so close together

I am going to stick with the 18/6 cycle
As I will top them 5 times for a even canopy ( scrog )

They are 3 weeks old and my set up and the girls have come a long way here are the pictures

The last one I just took it now

I am thinking of using the power flower
For a sog rotation but not too sure of it
