Help on outdoor grow

Hey i live in nebraska and was wondering what time would b the best to put my plants out doors. i was going to veg them indoors for a while to get them going under some cfls. maybe move them outside after i can detemine the sex. or do you think it would be better to start them outside?? and if i veg them inside ill b putting them outside during the longest days of the year.. mid juneish. first time grower so not sure.

Its best to start them indoors. Even if you don't sex them inside the atleased have a better chance of living if they already have a good root structure.
Mid June!!You don't need to wait so long, aslong as the day has atleased 14 hours of light they will grow.

When ya see people planting there gardens it time to plant yours. End of may is often a good time.

you have to check the hardiness zone for your region... mine in illinois is mother's day.... i will move mine into ground may 10th or so..unless i see may 1st is heat wave and we are getting above average temps mine are all started under t-5's and florescents ...and i just move some to 400 watt mh good luck:blsmoke:

thats some nice weather. might as well live in california. and a great plan. put em outside when they get some nice leaves on em.

Call your local garden store and ask them when it's safe to put out tomato plants in your area. Nebraska is probably going to be sometime in early May.
