Spot on.. fu*cking around with the pump because of drainage problems was my demise... It all happened over the course of a week.. but I didn't know what to look for...

What Do you recommend using to keep things sterile.. ? I wasn't using anything.. just kept my temps low..
Use hydrogen peroxide, the kind you get at the hydro store. Also, sterilize everything as best you can when you change out your reservoir. I put a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide in a couple gallons of water and wipe everything down.

Do a really hardcore cleaning job on the system before the next crop to kill all the pythium. Really it's about keeping things as pristine clean as possible and giving them hydrogen peroxide daily.

thanks for all the good info!!! i'm have a freshly cut clone that will be ready in about a week or so.. it seems like i have a nice shopping list. so its safe to say i can easily add it when preparing my nutes.? and all the way through starting day 1.? also do you use roots accelerator? or anything like that?

I am 100% hydro stupid. I know nothing, but would like to ask a question for future reference on this issue.

[SUP]Epsom salt helps flush salts out of soil and helps condition roots for better uptake of nutes[/SUP].
Will it do the same in a hydro setup :?:
i'm not too sure but some of the most recent posts had some pretty good info
