Use hydrogen peroxide, the kind you get at the hydro store. Also, sterilize everything as best you can when you change out your reservoir. I put a tablespoon of hydrogen peroxide in a couple gallons of water and wipe everything down.Spot on.. fu*cking around with the pump because of drainage problems was my demise... It all happened over the course of a week.. but I didn't know what to look for...
What Do you recommend using to keep things sterile.. ? I wasn't using anything.. just kept my temps low..
Do a really hardcore cleaning job on the system before the next crop to kill all the pythium. Really it's about keeping things as pristine clean as possible and giving them hydrogen peroxide daily.
