Your question makes no sense. How do you ph rockwool?
What exactly are you doing?
How do you get 1/4 ml?

to ph rockwool ur supposed to put the rockwool in a bucket of water and get the water to nuetral n let the rockwool sit overnight so that it starts nuetral n doesnt mess with ur nutrient solution later on.
i filled a bucket with water added rockwool cubes then tryed to get water to a nuetral ph
with a 1ml pipette

That's a much better explanation. I've never done it that way but I see no reason why it shouldn't work. What range are you getting on the ph? I thought that rockwool was completeley neutral.
Maybe try to ph the water first, then add the rockwool. If the ph changes there might be something wrong with the rockwool.

no rockwool supposedly starts a lil off to either side accordin to the hydro guy i got the cubes from n he told me to do this otherwise it will mess with the nutrient solution. rite now im just a lil over nuetral into the basic but my tap water starts out kinda acidic so a litle to the bae side shouldn't matter

If your using water with low PPM the PH can dramatically change with a drop of PH Up or Down. Without a Higher PPM to buffer the solution distilled, RO, or low PPM tap water is extremely sensitive to change.
