Help picking grow tent brand and size please

hello i"m looking to get a grow tent, i don't what brand to get and size. I would like to grow up to 8 - 10 plants using hydroponics with HPS untill i get the money for LED's. My price range is no more than 350 400 if i have to. I just want a nice quality, light proof, water resistance. Also is it better to get two tents, one for germination and veg and one for flowering or get an all in one tent with different section. the all in ones i worry about light leak so please help me with so suggestions Thank you.

You're not going to find much for that many plants in that price range, let alone two. If you want quality and light proof, you'll probably spend that much on a single 4x4 tent. While you COULD grow 8-10 plants hypothetically in that space, it'd be incredibly crowded unless they're very small plants. If you have the tools and carpentry skills, build using plywood and 2x4's. Cheap tents suck for hanging lights and exhaust in my experience.

This is what I did for under $300. It is a 4x8 and will house 10 plants in a perpetual cycle, 5 plants harvested every 6 weeks.

I would keep hps because it will cost you lot of money for good led
I run 3 rooms 1 for clones 1 for veg and 1 for flowering. The tent I use for my veg room is called a jungle room tent the size is 3x1.1/2x2 metres.
I have 6 plants in there but I do grow them very big. I think that tent would suit you fine it was about $350 I think not sure

Hello, i no longer grow i a tent (i've seen after years of experience that you don't need one, or you can build your own).

That said i was using a Growrite tent that was really well build and not so expansive.

I think that Gorilla are the best tents out there

I have 2 gorilla grow tents for sale. They are

9x9x8'h.

Used for three months. No light leaks at all. View windows outside without opening the tent

HMMM...I cultivate an illegal plant and I am going to buy grow equipment from a guy I just found on an anonymous web site...
I think that goes in the 'what good can come from it' file...just sayin'

Anyway, last x-mas I bought a 4' x 4' x8' tent for a friend...less than $60.00 with shipping on ebay.

As for Gorilla Tents...yes they are fucking the titties of tents! But...

I used to own a Honda which was in actuality...identical to an Acura with the same body style and drive train. In fact made and sold by the same company but with a huge difference in price tags. Both looked the same and did the same thing. Get it??

^ Have you set up a Gorilla and a secret jarden or any other tents. They are not even close. I have done pull up in a Gorilla, but got scared when I hung a small carbon filter in a Sunhut. If you know it isn't going to be moved much, the cheap one might work. If you want one that can handle being handle ruff, go with the Gorilla. The Gorilla also allow you to add multiple 1' extentions.

And one last point...

If your tent budget is $300-$400...how many LEDs are you going to be able to buy and provide an ample enough footprint for that many plants in a huge space?

Like I said Gorilla tents are titties...in fact if God has an indoor grow room...he uses a Gorilla tent...But on the OP's budget, the quality of the tent will do little to improve his harvest. In fact I don't believe that 2 identical grows done side by side in a Gorilla and a China cheapie...would be very different in terms of yield.

Secret Jardin is the highest quality in my opinion. Ive had mine for 9 years now.
You can also make your own for less than $50 using 2x4 and panda film
