Used a mixture of miracle grow and potting soil and dirt, no bugs. Thought it was overwatering but i let it dry out. Were transferred to 5gal about a week and a half ago. Put banana peels and apple peels to help with nutrients, was going to use peters 20-20-20 and see what happens. bout 14hrs of 400w HPS then 10 of fluorescent to save electricity. room temp varies between 73-85F
Fan kept on med-high for light breeze.

leaves turning yellow, cotyledons dead. PLEASE ADVISE! first time grower. here are the pictures.

Ok couple of mistakes I see

Your soil mixture is wrong miracle grow and potting soil and dirt

Should be Miracle grow, Peat moss, and perlite.

Also Those bananas are not gonna help now as it takes time for them to break down and be available nutrients for the plant.

Also banana peels are an organic source of nutrients where as Miracle grow utilizes chemical fertilizer. You can not mix the the two

Give some more details on your soil mixture and fertilizers you are using

Ok so I transplanted them to organic soil potting soil with a 10-5-10 NPK ratio yesterday and the HPS is going to be on for 24/7 for a while. Not using any nutes. Here are new pictures
