ANYONE THAT HAS HAD SPIDERMITES AND ERADICATED THEM, PLEASE HELP!

This is a cry of a desperate man.
I have just discovered while cloning in my veg room that I have spider mites :wall:
These little bastards are my worst fear as I have had them before and after a 6 month battle of getting no where, I ended up culling my perpetual grow, removing any food source and disinfecting both grow rooms, all my equipment, floors, walls etc. and waiting a week before starting all over from seed!

I found rotating through different oils would keep them at bay but never eradicate them. using neem oil, then 2 or 3 days later, white oil, then throw in a hit of perythrium another 2 or 3 days later......

I really don’t want a long standing battle with these guys lol.

Has anyone become victorious over spider mites? And if so, what was your method??
Thanks in advance!!

Well that sucks. If you have a place I would move the plants out of the veg area, spray them down good multiple times over the course of ten days and completely clean the veg room before putting them back.

Good advice xtsho! I’ve heard someone mention “nuke em” a while back! I’m currently in the process of building a grow garage but isn’t quite finished yet..... at least for now the infected plants are contained to the veg room only. I’m thinking of taking them outside and hosing the shit out of them? Lol. Could be a good time to disinfect EVERYTHING in veg room!?
Am also thinking of dunking the freshly cut clones into a bucket of water with a dash of liquid soap of some sort??
Thanks for your input xtsho. Appreciate it man!! ;-)

The best advice I can give is to use multiple products in rotation every 3 days. They are a bitch to get rid of, but it can be done. You gotta break the reproduction cycle that is every three days. Smite is a really good organic product that kills the eggs as well as mites. Green clean, mite massacre. Good luck, stay on top of them.

I would also look at some benficials for ongoing fight against them. Persimilis or californicus are good options to assist with spider mites. Beneficial are fantastic at keeping numbers down but cannot control an outbreak. Used in conjunction with sprays, scouting, sticky cards, and a clean environment will be your best success.

It sounds like you cleaned your tent well the first time. Do you have any houseplants that have them that could keep them coming back?

Somebody mentioned spraying every 3 days. This is good advice because of the spider mites life cycle.
I have had spider mites on more than one occasion thanks to gifted clones.
I recommend mighty wash every 3 days for a week (9 days), and then 1 more time a week later. I use a pump sprayer vs a trigger spray for better coverage.
This is something I have only done in veg... I won't spray my girls when flowering.
Good luck.

Did you use Green cleaner in flower ? If so, how far into flower and did it leave any taste, smells or other undesirable residue ?
I’ve had to in the past, till about a week before cutting, no flavor I could notice but there is a kind of sweet smell when you spray so there has to be residue but again, not that I could tell. Azamax I don’t use in flower

Thanks for all the replies!!
Sorry been away for a while.....
After the last infestation I had, it made me realise the importance of a clean, sterile grow room/s.
I noticed in my passive intake, there was a small piece of netting that had come away.
Maybe they got through this small gap or possibly on my clothing??
Have used a product called kill a mite.
Supposedly kills mites and eggs in one spray!? They do however recommend spraying again 5 days later, which I have not long done.
And all traces of mites and eggs are gone. Or so it seems for now :-?
I’ve fixed the small gap in the netting,
have sprayed all my equipment down in veg room with a light bleach/water solution and have ripped up the old floating floor boards and underlay (not the best flooring for a veg room haha) and now have only concrete flooring.
I am currently in the process of building a decent garage, so I think I’ll grow/flower this lot out and start again from seed....
Just to be safe.
This product seems really good compared with other neem oils etc I have used in the past. Fairly stress free on the plants but time will tell how effective it is I suppose haha.
Thanks again for all your help!
Hydro.
