Unsure really the words to use to search as it just ends up in a rabbit hole lol

I wanted to make some capsules...
20% thc
8 grams
1 fl. ounce (2tbs) Coco oil

total MG's = 1280 but that's for 1 full fluid ounce. I lost some that could not be squeezed out so only ended with about 85% of my starting 1 ounce.

Would you just subtract 15% of the starting 1280mg?

Trying to figure best I can so I know how many Mg's are in each Cap when dosed & done.

Hoping someone can shed some light on this, thanks.

Puzzled as to how 8 grams of 20% cannabis is 1280 mg total thc. 20% of 8 gram is 1600mg. Please share your formula. Lost of starter material is calculating yield. For potency estimate example, 8 grams of 20% thc feed stock with 2.5 tablespoon mct oil (1:4 ratio). At 75% estimated efficiency it would be 1200mg total. If the yield was 16 capsules then each capsule contain an estimated 75mg thc.

I used this calculator

https://volcanotips.com/potency-calculator-edibles/ ( I have used this one cause it falls in the middle)

this calc shows even less MG's

Maybe the above to calc pages are already calculating for loss?

The multiplication method is high, the ediblecalc site is low so I split the diff :)
