Help please new pics up from droopy leaves!!!!

The first pic was taken yesterday and just took this pic today can anyone see a difference since i haven't watered it at all last night or today i do not know why my leaves are droppy im using a 400hps, scott's potting soil, perlite,vermiculite, and bat guana mixed in with the soil, superthrive and plant food while watering.

give it a good flush and that should help.

It's awfully dark green, so it could be from too much N. It also looks thirsty so I'd give it a good watering, wait an hour or so, then see if it perks back up. If think you've been watering quite a bit already, then it could be overwatering, but you'll have to decide that for yourself.

it soudns like you have a lot of nutes in the soil and you are adding more with the watering, i tmight be you are nute locking the roots so they cant get anything. FLush and see what ahppens

A flush is just plain water that is pH balanced for the plant (strive for 5.5-6.5 pH) and use it to was out salts that build up in the soil - don't add any food stuff to the water when you flush

so how much should i water it with just plain water, and by the way i have paper towel under the soil so it absords the water like i put the paper towel in before putting soil in so its all the way on the bottom

looks like overwatering and the start of nute burn


let the soil dry out some more then don't add any nutes just water with RO or Distilled water that has been phd

don't give it any nutes till it starts to lighten up a bit

you screwed yourself doing that get that paper out of there

its holding the water in the pot and keeping the plant over watered and over fed

take the paper towel out and let that fucker dry out like 2-4 inchs down dry or if it starts to droop

yea tommorrow i will take it out and let the soil dry out for a cple days, do you think it should be fine or is it going to die?

yeah it should recover BUT if the roots are not white on the bottom they might have rotted

smart thing to do get that out of there. If you are going to put anything on the bottom go with small gravel or pea gravel this will allow proper drainage for the root system.

Ill have to agree with the rest, its over fed and looks to be over watered. A sure sign of too much N is the dark green color. Go get ya some distilled drinking water and pH it and feed that to them.

im going to put all new fresh soil in because i have a whole bucket mixed of potting soil, perlite, vermiculite, and bat guana so ill put that into new pots and put the plants in there and then just water it with purified water really good and let dry out for a cple days? sound good

That paper towel in the bottom of the pot was a 5 bong hit bone head move. If yur roots aren't nice and white than yuv got root rot. Go to yur local nursery and get some antifungal for a flowering house plant. Follow the directions. I would also upcan in some good fresh soil. The perlite won't do yu any good with a paper towel daming it all up. Should nick name yu Beaver.

Also you can't flush with a paper towel in the bottom of yur pot...Ya Know

dont water it really good just put it in new moist soil with new pots with drainage holes

then watch the soil it should take like a day to dry out then you can start with a normal watering plan

then you can water it good let it drain then let it go for like 2-3 days depending on how much your plant drinks and how hot it is

nice tip with the small/pea gravel i would do that too if you didn't have proper drainage

I would transplant into a new soil if you can. if you are going to transplant i would wait until the soil is dry at least 1 1/2in down before transplanting her. One thing you do not need to do is knock any dirt off the root system. Do not disturb the root ball. Just make sure your hole is big enough in the new pot to place the transplant in. Then water lightly with proper pH distiled water and you should be fine.

I learned long ago from another member that if you maintain a healthy root system, you will have a healthy plant. This is true, i have seen this, if you build a strong enough root system your plant will be able to withstand you "giving it too much care."
