do you check the ph after you mix all the nutes with thewater???? and are u adding them with water before you mix them together... mixing pure nutes can fuck things all up if its not diluted in h20 first

I only water when the pot gets light, and I don't have a flushing agent.

I ph the water to 6.4 and then add the ingredients one at a time to the water.

hmmm im not an expert... but it doesnt look like any kind of nute burn.... i am assuming its overwatered... i grow hydro only so im not to sure with soil... but i believe you are not supposed to water every day with fertt.... get a flushing agent... the salts from your fertalizers are going to build up in the plant matter and roots... and unless u want to smoke bud filled with a nutrient chemical taste then your going to want to flush... i flush monthy using flora kleen... and for 2 weeks before harvest and 3 days pure phed water last 3 days.... yummmmmy... id say run like 3X the plant water through the planter.... say its 5 gallon pot... id run 15 gallons of clear water through to clean out all nute buildup... that might not solve the problem but it will def leach out the nute salts

and ph the solution before you give it to your plants... the ph of the water will be different after you add the nutes... my fox farms actually drops the ph of my water by a point... so make sure u check and adjust.. u really want high 5.X .. i like 5.8 myself... as do the girls... :)

I just watered yesterday 1gal into a 5gal container so maybe that's the prob. I'll definitely look into some flora-kleen. This is only my second grow so I've still got alot to learn. Thanks for the quick response:peace:

no problem man.... quick responses are awesome lol..... flora kleen is like 10-15 bucks for a liter... and u add like 1-2 teaspoons a gallon ...or at least for hydro.. soils prob different.. the flush is the most important part of the grow as it removes the bad tastes and helps the bud mature and absorb all the nutes it has stored in its leaves~~~!!!! after grow 2 its all down hill... even the step up to hydro isnt as far as step as it seems.. so many ways to skin a cat ... ya know

What are you using to test your ph? I'm currently using a ph test kit for aquariums so it won't work after adding the nutes due to a change in the water color.

Over watering

Over watering is one of the biggest mistakes new growers make, reason for this is, because they feel the need to give there plant everything and will overdue a lot of things and one of them is over watering. By over watering your plant you soak the roots so much, they can’t get enough oxygen and slowly die. The plant shows signs of over watering by: Wilting, droopy look, yellow and or dead leaves falling off, which includes leaves that don’t look dead falling off. One of the best ways to tell how NOT to over water is by, picking up the pot when it is dry and then picking up the pot after you water. (This is a reason why it’s smart to use light pots.) When you water, you want to water just enough to where you see a bit of water coming out of the bottom, not gushing or pouring out. Just enough to see a little bit, then you know the plant has enough water. To prevent over watering you can either: add more perlite to your soil, add hydrogen peroxide to your water for extra oxygen, all the while killing bacteria if any in the soil. After watering, wait a few days to water. Mj plants like a good watering and then a couple days to dry out in between watering. So it’s very easy to over water. Besides the weight of the pot, another way to test if your plant needs water is to stick your index finger a couple inches into the soil. If the soil at the tip of your finger feels almost dry, then it's time to water again. The top of the soil should be allowed to dry out between waterings if it's still moist the plant does NOT need watered. You can also use a moisture meter which will tell you the level of moisture down in the soil. You can buy them at most garden supplies or hydro shops.

i know u can test the ph with fox farm big bloom tiger bloom and grow big... i test it after everytime
How does this work? When I ph my water I add some to a vial and then add the agent to the clear water and look for the appropriate color, with the nutes added the water turns brown so do you still get an accurate reading?

it should still have some transparency that you can use, i mean my water is slightly tinted but nothing to throw off a ph test.. u can get a digital one for short money if need be

Pretty much the same:-? I ordered a digital ph meter this morning so I should have it in a couple of days. Im wondering if it isnt more a ph issue than over watering?
ph issues usually start with uniform discoloration on the leaves.. usually starts at the tips of the leave.. it looks to be like lack of oxygen or overwatering..
