Help please sexing

First time grower, just used seeds from bag. I have already bought some feminized seeds for my next go.
Figured my first time would practice with random mix I had laying around.
I have 3 plants and this is the biggest one.
From my research I want to say this is a male but would like expert opinion before I chop it down.
Sorry if the pictures are blurry, they kept wanting to focus on the background.

When chopping down plants do you ever re-use the soil or back to the earth it goes?
