Help please with my substrate

I dunno maybe a mini space heater ? Although that will prolly be more heat then you need, maybe a electric blanket ?

Put all the jars together in a cardboard box with a 10 - 15 watt CFL. the mycellium grew faster with the light on in my experience, and the light will give enough radiant heat to raise temps. I went from spore innoculation to harvesting my first cube in 29 days. I used a wild mushroom to get my spores though, I attribute some of the speed to that as well.

some time multispore inoculations can take a while.. and certain veriaties conlinize faster then others... it can take anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks to fully get there.. are thoughs pint jars? if so it will take easily a month.. it isn't easy to tell, but to me it looks like your jars maybe a tad to dry.. maybe..

this jar is for spawning a mini tub.. I'm finding out that crack corn cakes don't rehydrate very well and tend to dry out after the first flush..

looking a little more closely it does look like your jars are not at feild capacity .. a tad to dry.. I know vermiculite on top acts as a filter but with five inco holes I would tape them to help hold in the moisture. you may have to sacrifice a jar and check to see if it has dryed out some.. its scetchy , but you could on one jar reinject it with distilled CLEAN water and syringe and see if that helps out in waking things up.. I've done this with grain spawn that was too dry and had success .. hope this info helps and isn't to discouraging ..

I thought they looked dry as well

I can't really tell you accurately without knowing how dry they were/are. test a jar with 10ml. of distiled water and play it from there.. just test a couple at first to get an idea. to slow things down cover them holes with micro pore tape.. to inject the water just do the same procedure as inoculation ... be clean.
