started of with just ph water around 6.0
Started adding canna start in low does 1/4

they was growing fine until I noticed one plant start to fall behind and stop growing...
Today I noticed one of the plants had started to show the same signs and that plant ie curling leaves ect

I water when dry and about a litre each plant
I don’t do till run of because I don’t want to drop plant

can anyone help me just with guidance I beg

Are you growing in coco? If so, don't let the pots dry out (they should always hold some moisture), aim for a pH of 5.8 and never water with plain water (always be sure your water has feed mixed up into it). Otherwise, the twisted leaves you're seeing are the result. Good luck.

Thanks for your reply. Yes using coco. I Waite till the top is dry but just under the surface it’s darker so moist. The smaller plant began to slow and twist and the others all following now. I used nuts last night and it appeared to make it worse. The next day I realised the others had started to curl at the edges and twist

The salt build up is a result of this: "I don’t do till run of because I don’t want to drop plant" So to avoid your problem, you'll need to feed to run off. If you do have visual salt build up, your medium pH is probably off, which is causing you your issues. My suggestion would be to be sure your feed pH is @ 5.8 and water all your plants until you get substantial run off. In your case the more run off the better, which will help flush out some of the residual salts you have building up. From this point forward be sure you're feeding with the right pH feed and be sure to water to run off and your problems will most likely go away. Good luck.

I will do that thank you. So if I Waite till there dry enough again and water till runoff will I not over water them and when I do this should I still use nutrients or just the ph this time to fix the problem? Thanks again

Don't wait to feed your plants until they're dry...in coco, when this happens, you've waited too long. You should be able to feed / water your plants every day...this is the beauty of growing in coco. You may want to look into the details of growing in coco; this will help you understand.

Hi again, if you could help me one last time I would really appreciate it. So iv run ph 5.8 though the plant till run of quite a bit of run of as I did a little digging and found it was dry half way down the pots so I clearly wasn’t watering anywhere near enough (you was correct) anyway iv done this but noticed there’s still salt at the top of the medium.... will that go with time or do I need to soak till runoff again?

I don't test my run off, ever, so I don't know what is 'normal' run off and what isn't. I will say, generally speaking, whatever you're putting into the plant, you should more or less get out of the plant. My suggestion would be to just carry on, being sure you have your feed pH'd correctly and just let time and your daily feeding routine make the corrections you need. If you feed enough times with a pH of 5.8, your run off will eventually follow suit. As to the salt build up...don't worry about it too much. Keep your medium (coco) moist and feed every day with some run off (it doesn't have to be copious amounts...just something out of the bottom of the pot) and I think you'll be fine. Good luck.

Daily feedings to substantial run off in coco replenishes the nutes, pulls in fresh oxygen to to root zone, and prevents salt build up.
Listen to CannaCountry......he's spot on.

I feed daily during veg and twice a day in flower.

I hope you have additional lighting......that 600w blurple light is probably only 150 actual watts......only good for one plant.

Thanks... umm no I was under the impression that would be enough. So many different opinions on grow lights. What would you recommend ?

I was wrong, that light only pulls 100 actual watts......not enough for even one plant.

The rule of thumb on lighting is:
Chinese blurples - 50 actual watts per sq.ft.......you have 25 s/f, so you would need approx 1250 actual watts.
Quantum Boards - (recommended) - 30 actual watts per sq.ft........you would need approx. 750 actual watts.

You can't go by the equivalents on the blurples......the manufacturers intentionally mislead you to believe it's 600watts.

Wow that’s a lot more than I thought. Yeah I see how the 600w is misleading

I will try find a quantumboard.. what’s a decent make/model ?

HLG.......Horticulture Lighting Group.
Expect to pay around $1 per watt.
Lighting is the most important piece of equipment for high yields and quality...........a $79 dollar blurple light won't get it unless you have a shitload of them for your space.

Good luck to you.
