help please

this is my bootleg grow box. how many plants can i safely grow in here? and whats the cheapest lighting i can use?

4 big to 6 smaller plants.

I have 3 plants growing. i vegged them for 6 weeks (untill they showed sex) and they have been flowering for 21days. 1 of them would NOT even fit in that box. And I did LST. In other words there is no way in hell 4 big plants will fit in there. Roseman knows what he's talking about but maybe he didn't really look at all your pics. I was about to agree with him untill i saw the last pic with a little of your leg in it for comparison. I say 1 decent size or 2 small ones.

I didn't see the leg and thought it was a regular 4 X 4 8 ft tall grow closet.

(and I got to add, what a polite considerate poster you are not to jump all over me for my very inacurate post.)

That is about enough space for one lowryder perhaps.

go with a sea of green (lots of little plants dunno how many really i havent tried it sriously yet still playing around seeing how well it works for comparison) or screen of green (1 big plant) method.

Yeah, you can only get about one plant in there.

Man...I love this site.

Also for your lighting question, I would reccomend using HPS, but a 100 watt system would probably run you about $70 on ebay. But trust me, when I switched to HPS, there was a very obvious positive response in my plants.

But if you are strapped for cash you could use 6500k Daylight Cfls. They're cheaper, fairly versitle, and they work.

If you do go with cfls, use one of those socket adaptors that you screw into a socket and it gives you two plug in outlets and those light sockets that plug into the wall outlets and surge protectors. You'll be able to daisy-chain the protectors together and have three bulbs plugged into each protector. Then you can mount the protectors all around your box. Also if you go to lowes or home depot, you can get this whole system for about $50- $60. Bulbs included.

Still I recommend using hps though. Much Luck with your grow.
