they get around 500 ml of water everyday and that is mixed with feed. if the soil still seems to be wet 3 inches down i do not water. as i understand that over watering can be worse than under watering.

all 5 of my plants are on the same schedule/ feed and 3 are fine and look perfect but this 1 and one other are showing curling of the leaves.

Hmmmm... How close is the light to the plants that are affected? What kind of light are you using? What are the room temps? Do you have an oscilating fan that is blowing on them?

What sized pots? What type of medium? You should not be feeding every day. You should be feeding when the medium has dried up and your pots get light. When you feed, you should be giving enough water that you get runoff. Looks to me like your plants are starting to shows signs of root issues/overwatering.

i am using 10L pots and in coco medium. 600w hps and a i have a oscilating fan in the tent circulating air. I do try to go by when the pots look dried up using the ' 3 inches down rule '. what root issues could this be that you mentioned? what would you advise to set this right?

anyone any more ideas? the plant that was curling was right under a duct that was blowing fresh air from outside the tent into the tent. could this have something to do with it ? ive moved each plant around now but does anyone have any other suggestions ??

It def looks like over fertilizing to me. I find that MJ doesn't need nearly the amount of nutes that the nutrient manufacturers state. I am running H&G nutes at 50% strength for the entire lineup and I still get some burn every now and then. Sometimes less is more with MJ.

How about water a couple of time to reduce the EC in the pot and then start with half strength until 2 weeks before harvest at which point u will be flushing.

Anyone wanna second that? There are only so many times we can say back of the food a bit !! :)

I agree with what she is saying. Kind of what i was getting at so your at week 5 make a 1/2 strength mix of Nuts. and water/feed say on the Monday. when your plant is drying out, mine @ week 5 of flower are to the every 2nd/3rd day for the remainder of the week so for me thats two more waterings at this time they only get PH 6.0-6.5 filtered water only.

If you are going to water/feed @ every time they need water you need to stay down around 1/4 strenth Nuts. or your going to have problems with lockout.

I just started new round of a strain that i personally have never done purpleberry Kush dude calls it (Purple Kush x Blackberry Kush) and have no Nuts. experience as i do not care for the mother. But went from rooted clone into 3gal bags with Happy frog so all they got was PH balanced water w/ rhizotonic root enhancer for 2 weeks and fed off of soil @ week 3 they got 1/4 strength Nuts. with rooting enhancer @ week 4 they still got 1/4 strength Nuts. with root enhancer (this time was one feeding/watering taking 10 days for soil to require water.)Things ran up to 20" with thick stalk and root system @ week 4 they were flipped and give 1/2 strength transition mix (no burn, no lock ) @ week 5 just gave them 1/2 strength bloom mix. So basically what im getting at is experiment with your Nuts. and find what they like, with MJ less is more and would always start at half strength an make a move up or down in potency. Keep journals on strains and if you have a couple that you regularly do and for the most part they become like clockwork.
