Am I wrong In assuming if there is moisture in the medium that the roots will grow and to find the moisture? By the looks of the plant im assuming it's screwed up because he waters too often and doesn't let the pot get dry. Telling him to water a little every few days isn't going to help him because that's what he's been doing and he's killing his plants lol. My opinion. Hey op. I'm sure they want all those nutrients your planning on giving them .cause right now there is not enough root ball to soak that whole pot and will only hinder those plants right now
They were getting 40 to 50 ml of water every other day in solo cups thats not over watering they were completely dried out and the roots were all the way at the bottom probably should of been tansplanted weeks soonerPlants should be watered throughly and only when dry. How would you develop a nice root system if your only giving enough water to wet a solo cup.
When you say happy frog next time do you mean instead od the light warroir in cups or the ocean forest in 5 gallons, I used to mix forest and frog in 5 gallons, what kind of soil do you guys useI would all so try to foliar feed those guys something for a min.
Lol 50mls . Give the plants some fucking water . I would assume I feed about 350ml-500 Mls in a solo cup. 5 gallon pots I give minimum 1 gallon. Let your pots dry out until it is very light. They were getting 40 to 50 ml of water every other day in solo cups thats not over watering they were completely dried out and the roots were all the way at the bottom probably should of been tansplanted weeks sooner

I always take small clones . You want the plant to get beefy in veg. The point is to get it as beefy as you can for its size so you can max your yield per sq ft . If you take a foot tall clone the thing still has a shit root system and stalk by the time it's tall enough to flowerI usually cut my own clones much bigger and never go through any of this but I got these ones from a friend and he brought em over ina fuckin bag lookin like shit and super weak and tiny didnt even expect them to live Being in a just growcubes and a plastic bag for hours on end but said fuck it and they ended up rootin out hard in 3 days never worked with tiny baby clones before so I am new to this
Usually take aroumd 6 inch clones and then supercrop it once it gets arpund a foot lay the main branch down and it turns imto 8 or so main tops and keeps it short n stocky, if this is ttue that it will only take a day extra ill give this a try I just domt want to water 1 time every ten days I do what you do in flower, completely saturate evertime and check the runoff to know what to do next watering but I can do this and soil is light af in 2 days so I can do that every other day always figured this was because soil is full of roots drying out the soil by the plant soakin it up and with that logic if I watered my plants now with that much water there is hardly any roots even in the pot to soak it up do im gonna be waiting 10 days for the soil to dry out instead of slowly increasing the water and aiming for just going below the root zone so they can dry out faster and grow faster then when there big enough I will satuarte the whole pot and not have to wait 10 days for it to dry out? Thats just my thinkingI always take small clones . You want the plant to get beefy in veg. The point is to get it as beefy as you can for its size so you can max your yield per sq ft . Dude Indont know how many times I've said it now. And let me start off by thumbs up to your friend. Putting a small plant into a big ass pot is stupid. i go from 1 gallons to 7 gallons.. In coco/sunshine4.. I fully saturate the pot.. It usually doesn't need water for 7 days from then, sometimes even 8-9 days . When the plant finally gets dry after a week... I already can see roots at bottoms of pots.. Second timeWhat soil do use pat? Forgot to ask my friend that but member the last time I was at his house he had bales of sunshine #4
Im not argueing anything dickbag simply asking for information from others to understand everyones methods and I really appreciated all your input but dont gotta be a fuckin asshole about it thats not what these forums are forDude Indont know how many times I've said it now. I water, fully saturate the medium , Probably goes another 5-7 days . By the 4th watering , my plants are 30 inches or so bushy as fuck topped plenty of times , done vegging and drinking 2 gallons every 4 days. Then I flip into flower. By day 10 of flower damn near every plant is drinking every 48hours 1.5-2 gallons. I pull over 2 per light 90% of the time. This is going to be my last post cause you are arguing such an ignorant question. Your mother should of taught you how to garden when you were a young lad. You can water your plant any which fucking way you want. I'm just pointing out the obvious that your plants look like garbage so maybe another route is the one you should take . Good bye. Please post grow pics so we can lol. Go buy a fuckin 12 dollar moisture meter and water when it tells you. Yuh donkey
