Hey there, always good to hear of new growers. You're embarking on a new trail of knowledge. This is like a marathon and your knowledge base will grow as you read and experience how to grow. Hard to tell if all seeds will sprout up. Focus on what you have going on now - start some more seeds if you have them. Read up on germinating and starting seeds.

Give em lots of light and don't over water them - just water the area around the sprouts not the whole pot, then increase area and amount of water as the plants gets bigger.

Ok thank you. The thing is two did have a tap root when i planted but there not the ones that sprouted is it normal for a seed that has a tap root not to sprout up?

It happens, get some time and it may pop up - Sometimes I dig carefuly to locate and see what's going on.

The time I've learned to give nutes is when the seedling leaves die away then give 1/4 strength nutes. When to water stick ur finger in ur soil about to ur first crese of ur knuckle if it's dry it's time to water. Then only water till u see run off. Good luck and happy growing!

when you planted seeds did you plant with root up or down, just saying for some stupid reason ,when you plant with root down it has to reroute the root to go up and then it turns and heads back down into pot, cant explain it but it does.
so if you planted root down it will take a little longer but it will be alright, dont feed nutrient until sprout leaves fall off then start if you have to ,it all depends on what your growing in ,soil is diffrent from coco, coco you feed from the start ,soil is another ball game,if you bought roots organic or fox farm ocean there is plenty of nutrients in there for a while anyway your babies will let you know when it is time, if you run soil ,my favorite by the way, depends on how hot your running ,if you build your on, you sometimes cant put a seedling in there until it matures a little ,if you run no till all them little microbes be in there making a perfect condition for you ,you go straight into it ,mother nature pops up and does everything for you if you got the soil right ,if sweet you then just feed water and tea.
i know people that use both roots and fox farms most dont even feed nutrients until 3rd or 4th week.
so it really all depends on which way you want to grow, hope i could help a little with all this gibberish ,hope you can make it work for you friend which ever way you go

I am a first time grower and I am growing two different plants right now one is a clone of blue dream and the other is a clone of pre 98 bubba. I have done a lot of reading on the different ways to grow and techniques. The one that stood out to me was organic because the fact it is cleaner and just no chemicals and what not. I am using home made compost that I make in a compost box I have. The compost was settled for over 5 months cuz there is a lot in the box so I am using that to grow my plants in. Right now my plants are on a 18/6 lighting schudle. What I am doing is a indoor grow but letting it get sunlight from the sun and it's been working pretty well so far because I live in California so the heat is well for it right now with the sun light it's getting and I make sure it gets well air flow because I read that it will help make the main stem stronger and sturdy for when it grows the flowers. I put some earth worms also in the soil for the plants because I read it will help break down the compost also that it is in and I wanted to know if that was smart to put them in there ? And what I'm wanting to know is do I need to feed my plant anything or just maintain it now and let the compost do all the work? Or do I still need to add certain things to help it here and there? And also I was wanting to know if someone can tell me if my plants are looking ok if I posted pictures?

Thanks. And i planted point of seed down only two had tap roots starting and put them down too cause that's what i read to do. I do have one new sprout that sprouted today. So up to 5 of the 8 have now sprouted but the soil keeps feeling dried out on top. And using miracle grow seed starter. Going to switch to miracle grow over and under watering protector.

if it feels dry were you planted seed just take a squirt bottle and spray it a little to keep moist until they are up,that is the correct way to plant your seeds ,i dont understand why it has to loop like that other than the loop forces the seed out of ground ,then them little leaves will come out and fall off and you have a bouncing baby girl hopefuly, dont overwater with the spray bottle just enough to keep it from drying up until it gets going, hope it helped ya
