hi im new to growing and i had a decent plant its about 6 or 7 days old but then i went to transplant it from a cup into a biodegradable thing and now its starting to lean over. what does this mean is it going to die or is there anything i can do ?

could be transplant shock, or lack of light, you could have damaged some of the roots during transplant, ph could be off in new soil. There are so many variables to give one solid answer. More info plus pics could help quite a bit to diagnose exactly what happened or if the plant is salvageable

here is a picture of the plant and then my set up if u have any suggestions for help i have a 65w grow n show bulb and a 120w grown and show bulb i just added the 120 today and i think its now killing my plant further =/

I agree they need more but better light, also i am not sure i would retransplant just add more soil to the top to cover up some of the stem. Without better light you can kiss em goodbye, maybe take em outdoors

How Phatt's The Wallet.????? I Run 1000w X2 Mh/hps

THERE'S NO ROOM IN THE POTS FOR THE VALCANO IDEA, A RETRANS WITH TENDER HANDS. STILL MY REC. CHECK THE GALLERAY I HAVE ON THAT LOOKED THE SAME. THEN CHECK THE JOURNAL, SHE'S IN THE PIC'S THERE, AND VERY VERY HAPPY...

If it's a too much green weight for stalk strength issue, you can prop it up with a bamboo skewer, stick, toothpic, etc. and give it more time to strengthen.

yep for about 3 -4 weeks. then you need 95w + blue or purple for till flower, some 200w purple will cover all stages

Did you check out the growfaq? There's a boatload of info there. For lights, you can do alot with cfls and a pretty small footprint. Ditch that piece of crap desk light -get a couple of cfls, get 'em close to your little plant to resolve the stretching. Get some more dirt (NO NUTES IN IT) and bury that little stalk up further to give it some support.

Then, take more photos and start yourself a grow journal! :hump:

go to home depot and get a 70-150w hps security lamp. they are between 50 and 100 bucks.
