HELP! Question about sex- (No, not that kind of sex you perv)

Do male plants usually show faster than female? Also, do the female preflowers look similar to the male pods at first appearance? The male pods are showing in clusters of at least 3-5 pods, but the one plant I'm not sure about yet has similar looking things in single spots where the branches meet stems. They are NOT clusters of mutiple pods but they aren't showing hairs yet either. Is this just a young female that isn't quite ready to reveal herself? I know what the males look like - have 5 of the damn things showing from only 8 plants. There are 2 that are definitely girls, and then this one that seems to be a bit shy showing the goods still.

It can take any amount of time for either sex to show first.

If you have single "pod things" on some of your nodes then keep looking there to see the hairs.

I have had females take 14days to show sex and others take 6days. Others have shown during veg etc

Thanks Jondamon. It's been 11 days since switching to 12/12, and I was just getting anxious because the other 7 plants have shown already. I also gave the cloned top of the plant in question to a friend, so I'd like to be able to tell him if he should pamper 'her' or execute 'him' as soon as I know for sure what it is. So, if it was male, there would not be singular pods, but always clusters of them, right?

Male plants usually do show first. Not always, but most of the time. So keep your fingers crossed, luck my be on your side.

yea every time a male has came it has been alot sooner than the females

The damn thing finally showed...and it's another boy! Guess this one was just 'ridin the short bus' behind all the others. What luck I have - 6 out of 8 plants turned out males! I had two Short Riders, two Blue Mystics and two AK48s, and only the AKs are girls. I'm hoping that means the rest of the beans left from the 10pks are loaded with females. May have to pop another two of each into soil now cause I'm bummed about not having a variety like I was planning on at harvest.

buy fem seeds ,i was gettin bad results with nirvana seeds, lotta males so i bought some fems and pollenated my own. seeds are way better, almost all pop and gettin way better female to male count now

some peeps here in the adcanced mj section under breeders paradice looking for pollen or males pollen is needed all over worth trade for meds pollen them out and seed you plant not getting lots of buds any ways seeds are good for trade if good strains, pollen from strong healthy good strain males is worth &&&&&????? learn how to collect pollen.
