So, something is eating my plants, and i have no idea what? As u will see on the pics, its not small holes on the leaves, but the entire leaves are being eaten.

I have inspected the plants, but cant see any bugs near or on it, but something tells me it must be a big bug?

Its in my yard, so i can safely say its not a rabbit.

I have never seen any rats or cats here, but i cant say for sure.

But u think its not a bug?

yeah, way too much missing to be bugs....it has to be some sort of critter.

Ok, well if it was bugs, i would not mind killing them. But anything bigger than a bug, i dont wanna harm, especially if there ia a chance that it might be a cat or something.

So, next question is, if it keeps eating a leave every now and then, whats the worst case scenario? Just a few missing leaves? Or can the plant die?

Get some neem oil and spray both up and under the leaves...it's a natural product and is good to have in your arsenal...then see what happens...it's cheap and available in most garden shops...g/l

I have neem oil, but thought it was just for spider mites.

And i think i have found the hungry critter. Pic from google, but its the exact same one i just saw about 2 feet away from my plants. 92196595.jpg

Grasshoppers dont do that kind of damage, they eat gapping holes here n there. I bet if you look around the plant you might find rabbit scat. Using the neem oil you have might keep the rabbits away, thats why it was suggested;)
