Let me elaborate : when they are ready for harvest, trim all branches dip in grape juice, (to make sure any residue will be removed) and i hang upside down, the grape juice is acidic and a fan will remove grape juice in 15 min of hanging upside down, the resin will dry as usual. or you can try max way.... Oh wait, he just said it sucks... and raise your co2 LOL LOL LOL ha ha ha Please try his way first, tell me how that works out for ya.... LOL LOL

hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahaha. i use c02 all the time to control bugs, even when i can't see signs of an infestation. it works well. as for the grape juice, i give that about a 0% chance of working on the bugs (especially cuz they'll migrate while the plant's drying anyways), and about a 75% chance of moldy buds. maybe if i ended up with some dirt weed i could use that to spice up the flavor lol. Mite-Rid spray works but it runs around $30 for a small bottle. it won't eliminate the problem, but it's all organic and it'll control them for about a week per application. you can use this twice per crop, which would almost finish your grow. i would use this and also gently wipe the leaves down every day to prevent new webbing. you can check out my old thread

dude mark my word ...plant vitality + its like a nuke bomb i dont care wjat any body else tells you (no offense dude haha lol ) about they dont kno what is in it .. i used it on mites 2 weeks befor eharvest and it didnt affect taste one bit....well id idnt think so either the smoke wa ssmooth and everything i would advise any thign being sprayed onto the plant which you dont know if you ahve elss than 2 weeks but this shit is a nuke bomb to all pests

I have used high concentrations of co2 to try to kill mites. Its pretty wasteful, it does the same thing a spray would do, killing on contact. The problem is the eggs that remain. The co2 won't affect them at all, so whats helped me in the past is foggers with a spray. I personally like Mite Rid and Doktor Dooms fogger. In conjunction together I've defeated a infestations of mites in the past this way, gotta hit em hard. I fog 3 days straight double dosage then recommended, then following those 3 days of nasty pesticides I spray really really good everything under over inside, cracks in the walls, vents, I mean everything. I also live where its cold all year, I turn the intake on to 50 degrees, they certainly don't like that either.. Good luck with your mites, you must own them before they own you.

I have no access to co2 ( at least not now )

My temps are in the high 70s lights on ...high 60s when lights off.
RH is 70% with lights off and 50s when on. ( Best I can do )

I raised the RH and been lowering the temps since I noticed the problem...I researched favorable mite condition...high temps. low humidity.

Should have gotten predator mites at the first sign...could have afforded them back then.

But now I just need to keep them at bay until harvest...started flushing yesterday ( 2 week flush )

So I'll just use this organic spray and whats left of the lady bugs....

I'm broke now...if anything else happened I would be SOL.

Just a poor disabled person living on a fixed income trying to grow my meds for me and a few people worse off then me.

I'm researching homemade recipes now...since this bottle is almost empty and 2 to 3 weeks is a long time...and I just can't afford anything anymore right now. Lots of simple and organic recipes on line for mite control..there are also a lot of kill them all now chems for sale on line...but I've never used anything but organics.

I see by reading some of these responses to my topic thats some people here have been smoking way too many chems.
Sheesh it's like the WWF of pot growing....

And anything I use if I can't spray it on the buds then I'm not going to use it...

I'll go back to using alcohol / water if I have to...it's just that the crystals don't seem to like it.

I've been growing for 2 years...had PM once..fixed that with high PH water...easy as pie.

I have never had to deal with bugs before....

Glad this is the last grow until fall...growing pot is not easy when you can barely walk much less move stuff around in the garden. I had a grow mate....someone to do all the grunt work etc...but he flaked out on me a couple of months ago.
He just came by the other day..thinking he was entitled to part of my last crop when he did nothing to help. Got a face full of door...lol

is your sole purpose on this site trying to fuck with people? i think you're a troll, and i don't think you've ever grown a plant. or else you wouldn't be telling people to dip their plants in grape juice to get rid of mites after harvest. stop trying to destroy other peoples gardens. maybe try getting a job so you can fill your free time instead of trying to screw people gardens up with lousy advice

No Spider Mites by Greenway, all organic, made with citronella, geranium oil, plu cottonseed oil, citric acid, rosemary and water. They claim it is non toxic and good from seedling to harvest. I used it in 4th week of flower. 2 applications, after 10 days not 1 alive. Its very expensive but comes with a money back guarantee.

use tape folded in and just touch your plant all over with it. make sure you do this every other day till harvest and you will be fine. also dispose of tape in trash outside immediatly

Don't believe when they say you can use up till harvest because they are usually referring to fruits and veggies that can be washed off. Weed tends to absorb that shit and then taste like it when you smoke it

i usually agree, but i did have a wicked breakout of mites a couple weeks before harvest around a year ago. i used mite-rid and it did an awesome job, and it had no effect on flavor. Mite-Rid is an organic, essential oil mix with capsaicin and azadirachtin in it. it runs about $30 for a bottle, but it's a great investment just in case.

Its made for weed. Besides I tasted it and it has zero flavor. I know you think I'm crazy to taste a pesticide but there are NO chemicals in it and I'm in contact with far worse shit in my day job! The label says that it is exempt from EPA regs cos its a 'minimum risk pesticide".
