help starting soil

Ok my first grow i started a month ago I just planted it in Miracle Grow Potting soil and watered about every other day... a month in and they are starting to die. I'm planting a new batch here soon. What kind of soil should I get? and do I i give it nutrients? if so i have 20-20-20 does that work for grow? any other tips on starting this new batch? things to watch for?

yea miracle gro is a killer for weed lol, fucked me up so many times... anywhooo... if ur in the states.... walmart hyponex soil is ok... basically anything else but miracle gro.... no nutes for first 3-4weeks, they can survive on regular soil till then, then its up to you, i believe that 20-20-20 is ok... just get anything with a good nitrogen ratio... (first number larger) such as 16-4-10 or 15-10-10

1 - don't start feeding plants nutes if they are under 1 month old
2 - start the nutes off at 1/8 or weaker after 1 month
3 - 20-20-20 is perfect for veg
4 - you can use MG but alot of people use it and they start to nute to early thus causing nute burn
