help switching to 12/12

i changed to 3000k t5 just now and am wondering how do i introduce the dark period? i was on 24/7 6500k. can i just leave them on for couple days than turn them off for 12 hours when i want?thx

Yeah just whenever the only real thing to consider is when do you need the lights on to work. If you live somewhere where it gets really hot you may also want to consider keeping lights off in the day depending on your ventilation.
