Help To Build a growroom, the best way I can

Hello,

I am having some problems with temperature.

Lets see the equips:

Growlab GL 80

Assembled: 2'7" wide x 2'7" deep x 5'11" tall / 31.5" x 31.5" x 70.8" tall / 80 x 80 x 180cm

GrowBright 4" Inline Fan

2 Small Ventilations for circulation

HPS/HQI 400w

400w Reactor
(everytime this one was outside the tent)

6" Cooltube

Growbright Carbon Filter

4" Duct Muffler

All from high tech garden, this link: http://www.htgsupply.com/Product-A-GrowBright-4in-Inline-Fan-&-Carbon-Filter-Combo.asp with the mufler

Well, here is around 27c and inside the tent around 32c

All the stuff was mounted INSIDE the tent and the noise was ok, but the inline was heating up a little, i could feel. So I moved everything outside the growtent, the duct, the duct lenght is now about double when was every stuff inside, but the temps dont got any lower. I got one passive intake at the same size of the warm air going out by a window. The passive intake is at this window too but pointed to the other side.

With this temps my baby plants suffered bad, they twisted and lost some leaves but they are too small, so I am trying to ressucitate.

Thanks people, sorry for my bad english but please help a brodaaa

:)

You need to increase the fan to a 6" and I'm sure the filter is also to small and doesnt have the surface area needed for enough air exchange to cool for 400WATT light, you could then use the 4" fan for tent ventilation and use the 6" just for cooling the light, want even more control add ceiling fan control to fan and you can slow then down or speed up as needed for tempature control

I need to open one flip flap or the 4" intake is sufficient?

I cant go 6", the gl 80 got only 5" and 6" air intake/outtake

thanks guys

This is a similar question on the Grow Lab site .... Does this help out?

I understand that an exhaust fan can be mounted on top of this tent. Is the port 4" or 6"? What fan would you recommend for most secure top mounting?

The GrowLab utilizes intake/exhaust ports that allows them to adjust to fit various sizes of ducting. Drawstrings eliminate the need for duct hose clamps and make installation of ducting and fans quick and easy. All GrowLab models have a sock port in the back corner of the roof where the exhaust fan can be attached. Instead of strapping the fan to the interior of the tent you can just sit the fan in the port on the roof for an easy and effective mounting solution, although the fan can still be strapped to the interior if desired. I recommend a Vortex or Sunleaves Inline Fan.-Greners Staff

Your intake should be bigger. You generally want the intake area to be twice the exhaust area on a passive intake setup.
