help w/ dwc

ok i have a dwc started and the leafs are looking like there drying up and getting spots whats that mean? this is my setup 3 100w cfls 1 dwc and 1 in dirt. i found out after i started i didnt have the money for the plant food but i have a ph tester. the dwc id about 8 inch. tall andthe dirt one is about 5 inch and one if the best ive grewn yet

does this mean you are growing water with no nutes in plain ol ph'd water

the ph is about 6.2 and there in the water all the time but i have a air pump and air stone this is my frist time thought i would try something new now just trying to make it work right lol

no nutes will work for the first week or so but they're gonna need food.

can i use the some food i use for my dirt plants?
