HELP W LST bending technique????

High, my plants are on thier 5 set of leaves and they are really deep so i thought it would be a good time to try and bend the plant, i was wondering how long do you leave it bent what do you look for? and when you take out the stake do you let it strighten out before you bend it in a diffrent diretion? how long does it ussually take to get a good bushy plant? how effetive is this method?

u just bend it and dont untie it u leave it tied start with the main stock then pull the other branches out one by one to get all of them the same height

look in the grow faq's and they got 'lst technique in there step by step,i just did it or dhould i say doing it at the moment and its going good!the only thing i noticed is that the two plants that are 'lst' have'nt showed sex yet,while the others that were started at the same time have already showed,hmm?i wonder why that is?i guess couse of the stress,duh,lol......good luck!.......peace,ras

i bent 2 of my plants (first grow) and managed to do it right.
i bent the stem by tying some soft twine around the top of the main stem and tying the other end to a small stake.and pushing it into the ground every couple of days i would tighten the twine by putting a pencil in the twine and twisting to make it tighter. i found that all the side stems grew up in place of the main stem, i have more big colas than the plants i left alone.


you keep the plant bent all the way through to harvest. you dont need to let the plant rest or anything, just keep it tied down
occasionally you may snap or over bend the stem which repairs very quickly

it worked for me and i will definately would do it again

damn son u guys r way legit! thanks fe all the help im about to put a u-shaped clothes hanger to tie down the main stem and i will leave it till it flowers...do i tie the stems that grow off of that too and soo on and soo on?

you can train your plants to grow into some weird shapes, depends on what you want to do.

i didnt take advice on 'bending' i just used common sense from my gardening knowledge but there is loads of stuff on the net thats good

yea I used couat hangers bent. because I was growing outside and had nothing to tie it to... so I just stuck the coathanger in the drit around the plant. worked well.. made a 6 foot plant a 3 foot plant...
