I appreciate that man, i apologize for coming off a lil more aggressive than usual.
I think what you are saying is actually accurate, in your case, reason i say that as i saw more pictures of your setup, and therefore can see that we grow totally different. Not that either way is right or wrong, it's be like me explaining to you why i like my women the way i do..
I am water only, with an amended leaf-mold compost as my base, i don't use any liming agents, i use oyster flour, oyster shells, biochar, crab and shrimp meal to keep the ph in check. No-till for three runs and remix in my compost.
Again i apologize, as if you are indeed using more bottled nutrients, than absolutely your soil may run more acidic over time, as I've always said that liquid nutrients almost always will steer a soil mix acidic.
Glad we could stomp that.
I am indeed a pacifist, wouldn't believe that if you saw me, but i digress.
take care man
Oh yeah. And from your growing point of view I totally understand.
Your bio-herd is maintaining pH perfectly I'm sure.
I used to mix my own soil ,and do water only, even did a veganic organic run or two,but in my limited indoor highrise condo space it got difficult.
Peace to you man.

that's cool, one thing in organics I haven't done is veganics, but damn near all my nutrients are animal/insect based.
I don't use slaughterhouse stuff, but not because they don't work...possible serious health issues...
Did you notice any difference in your veganic herb, compared to a regular organic mix?

I ran a kimbo kush cut about 12 times, with 3 different bottled nute lines, 2 custom soil mixes, and 1 veganic soil mix. The veganic run was good and tasty, but it lacked the bud density I got from the other runs, but yielded slightly more in dry weight.

interesting, so you got MORE weight but less density...
I have so many pheno-hunts going on right now, I could never dedicate that much time to that type of experiment.
it's admirable you made the effort.
