Help! What Could be Eating the Master Kush tops???

Point taken RIU!!! Changing hiding place for key and removing no pest strips. Anyone else had issues with No Pest Strips. Thought they were safe with plant life and the fans are on 24/7... Thanks all for your input.

if you hide the key in a different spot and it is still going on it could be mice, get some mouse traps and lay them in there my buddies have had there stash in there shop be taking over a couple times by mice, they fixed it by putting it in a stainless lock box. do you see any mice shit on the soil or around your plants? on leaves? If it is mice where there is one there is 10 more easy.

My hypothesis, your sleep walking at night with scissors.

That is def human theft... no bug is gonna do that and if it was an animal you'd see scraps on the floor from them munching and they're not going to hand pick a single tops of the plant either... they'd be taking nibbles from all over.

what you say makes sense, but if I was a mouse id head straight for the tops

Mouse, Human, Nute burn, it all is sucky sounding period I'm sure taking care of one thing at a time will definitely fix the problem. Or take the guesswork out and just cur back nutes hide your key better and put 1 mouse trap in there I would put the snapping kind in and not the sticky, it could cause even more problems.

I have a nano computer (Raspberry Pi) running in my room that is connected to a number of sensors. It's all running open source and there are sensors for everything under the sun that do just about anything you need for most applications. Right now in my room, I have the following sensors connected to the nano which is reporting to a web server on the internet that parses the results to a database server ... the data is accessible real time from the device and historically from the database. Presently, I can do the following with it and not only get the data from anywhere in the world but I have it setup to send me text messages based on certain conditions.

1. RH is reported every 30 second to the web server
2. Temp is reported every 30 seconds to the web server
3. Luminosity and light spectrum gives details on lamp degradation and if the light is on or off and reports it to the web server
4. Door magnet detects when door is opened and informs the web server
5. Motion detector detects motion in the room and turns on a web cam and streams it to the web server

Research this... it's good stuff and really cheap. Even without the web and DB integration just being able to see these conditions real time from any PC, tablet or phone is good stuff.

Cost about $150 to make the entire solution.

You need a strong understanding of the following or someone who has:

1. PC electronics for connecting cables and chips
2. Assembler and C# machine language to develop the drivers for the sensors and other attachments
3. Knowledge of web and database development environments for web integration

There's an idea for an enterprising entrepreneur.
