simple u make up a bucket list for the dog thinking of what a doggie would want and sometime during the year u cross one of those out
simpler is this

My dog goes through about 1 tennis ball a day.
She only likes tennis balls, I'm convinced it's a tactile thing in her mouth.
She has to squish and slobber it up to just the right consistency then I'm allowed to throw it for her
