HELP!!! WHEN SHOULD I HARVEST?!?

Hello guys and gals. First off let me say thank you in advance for any replies I get to this thread it will be greatly appreciated.

This is my first grow indoors and everything was going fantastic and better than I expected until one day I noticed I had a seed sac on my lady. I then checked the rest of them and they had all been pollinated .. I am so heartbroken and upset about this. I found the plant that hermied and removed it but it was to late, the damage was already done. So my question is when should I harvest what's left? I don't want a bunch of buds full of seeds and I don't wanna have to just make hash or edibles out of them either unless that is my absolute only option. I am approaching week 5 of flower and was wondering if I could harvest early to prevent more seeds from maturing. I know harvesting early will cut the potency down but how much I'm not sure. So please someone tell me what I should do???

5 weeks is way to early for harvest, keep on flowering... Remove the seed sacs you can find so that they don't consume energy filling the seeds. Change the photoperiod to 13.5/10.5 for 2 weeks, then to 13/11, that will prolong the flowering... Don't forget, it's all about the last 2 weeks of flowering that THC is maximized, that is when the fan leaves are all yellow..

If your plants are isolated from full females then run them as usual til the end. If there is very little signs of sacks and nanners , you can pinch them off , but if you notice seed development , plant will switch from further flowering to seeding. Seeds need up to 6 weeks to fully mature but you can still get respectable smoke from the end product.

Was your seeds from bagseed ? Or did have a mishap they have stressed them into this change ? I say make the best of the situation especially if the plants look healthy.

Buds will still mature a bit but not like full female. It will still have nice sugar on it.
If you chop too early you will end up with buds that are not ready , so what did you gain from that ?

I pushed 2 Hermies to the end and at least got some decent smoke. Don't forget to clean the crap out of grow area before starting new plants.

These are still in their early cure stage and smells really nice. Why waste bud ?

Through my research yes thc natures a lot during the last couple weeks but it builds potency at a pretty consistent pace throughout the entire flowering period it doesn't just all of sudden start getting potent at the final weeks. And the yellowing of the fan leaves is only due to flushing. If you don't flush then they will stay green the entire time unless they have a deficiency. This is my first indoor grow but I have done plenty of outdoor growing and there's a lot of similarities and there are some differences as well. But thanks for the help I appreciate it
