Help with Air condtioning

Hello all,

I am setting up my first hydroponic indoor setup.

I am growing in an apartment, everything will be set up automatic, as i will not be able to go there all the time, and i dont live there.
I need a way to control my Temps. I have the exhaust setup so itll get rid of heat at a certain temperature, which itll kick on Automatic.., however in case it gets too hot I will have an AC that will kick on(hopefully). Outside temp in the summer is anywhere from 85-100 and the AC in the apartment sucks, its a wall AC that powers like 1/2 of the living room. Which is where ill grow. The grow will be inside the tent.

What is a good AC not too expensive, that is reliable? Or what kind of AC do I need to look for??

you're keeping your grow in the living room? what if the landlord needs access to the apartment? the guys will be along to help soon with the AC. good luck on the grow. welcome to RIU.

I am renting an apartment. If the landlord needs access to the apartment they must request permission its illegal for them to go inside. Being a big company, I will sue them if they were to ever go inside without my knowledge as its in my contract she cannot ever go in, as long as I pay rent on time. And also I own a home I have on rent, and I know its illegal for me to goinside without consent, and if i want to go in and they say no, I have no power.

yeah, i'm just asking what are your plans then if it's set up in the living room--why not a bedroom where you could easily lock the door for anyone to enter? it seems it would be a lot of work to move the girls if they did need access.

I want to master the grow, than I will put more money into it and get a house. I just need to learn everything for now, my setup Rite now IMO is pretty good, and when I upgrade it into a house I will turn my current setup into the Veg statge. Anyways heres my setup,

Grow tent 4x4x6
1000 Watt lights
CO2, Carbon filter which will sit in inside the tent recycling air, exhaust system auto turn on and off with AC insude also automatic(this is where I need help) I am growing Hydro as well. Top drip system.

also i would never let them in, as the appt complex is 200 apartments and they would never need access. But they havent asked the last 3 minths, and itll be there maybe 6 more mos at the most.

Anyways I need help with the right AC for the 4x4x6 tent

if you're using CO2 i thought higher temps were needed. every time i comment, it just bumps your thread up--sooner or later, you'll get a guy that sees this thread to help with the AC

let's say neighbor next to apartment complains of bugs and the complex sends an exterminator out. they could need access to yours, and you'll have a big black 4x4x6 tent sitting in the living room ... just think about it. i totally get they need your permission to come in, but 24 hours to take it all down especially if you're running hydro is a lot of work. if you're not in a legal state, stealth should be a priority.

anyway, good luck with the grow and learning all about it.

If your running sealed co2 Ide either rig an exhaust to a 6k btu. But with co2 you can play between 84-88 some people even push 90
