When trichomes form they look like little balls of glass on a glass stem.

As they mature they begin to get cloudy. Think frosted window during Christmas. After that the begin to turn amber (a shade of red). Once the trichomes have turned cloudy it becomes personal preference on when to cut down your plant.

Different time frames and trichome maturity offer different effect from the weed.

Cheers it's all so confusing so top hairs turning amber. I'll just keep a eye and keep seeking advice as it progresses..do I chop plant from bottom and hang upside down or in sections when the time comes?
