I just don't collect pictures of my grows... I have a Sour and Sage I'm SCROG training. Here's a pic of her outside B4 the screen went on.

And here she is with the screen... She's been in Veg for 60 days. You do tend to need Proof that I grow. Weed for 15. Vegies for over 40.

Nice plants.

I personally don't think its a lock out. Plants under blurple led tend to need more calcium. Mag also. I flower with t5. I prefer a mixed spectrum including uv. To me the smoke is better. Part of the mix are Agromax pure par bulbs. They have that distinct blurple look.

I noticed that after adding those bulbs I was needing to use a little Epsom more often. The bulbs were the only variable that changed with consistent grows before.

The other plants are fine. This is just a strain or pheno that needs more than what its getting.

The peat pucks could be the culprit because peat can be acidic. Still the others are fine. I would expect other nutrients to be locked out as well.


I want to say something else. First, I consider ph important bu a secondary issue because something has to cause it. For the most part, people tend to buy store bought or make those own soil so have an idea of what they have unless it's a bad batch. It happens. I dumped a 4 cubic foot bale of a local brand similar to promix. 3 bales were fine. The fourth ph issues left and right. Finally dug them up and put in a new batch and they were fine. I tried several different plants in it.

Over or under water cause ph problems. Improper watering technique can cause it. Water source. The list goes on and on.

The whole ph chart is really important. For soil depends. Ask anyone that grows no till or super soil. Organic. Its not as important. The soil buffers It. Ph'ing your water up or down doesn't have much effect unless you get really base or acidic.

That how I break things down. Medium, nutes, etc.

My first post states cal/mag. This all got started because I said my first question wouldn't be ph and wouldn't be the first thing I would automatically go to. Your opinion differs on that.

That come to what I want to say next. I apologize for name calling. I don't normally act that way. More than k e way to skin a cat.

We have differing opinions. That's fine.

What do you mean by effect? I mean I plant and harvest by the moon. Depending on the moon and when you plant can effect size and when you harvest can effect how long it takes produce to spoil.

The affect the light can play on causing the plant to "Hermi"

It's All Good Man! With States making Weed Legal, Tons of Newbies. They need the help. I've always been Anal about balance in growing. Lot's of the Newbies can't even grow a Carrot. Old growers like us had to make it grow RIGHT because we had to hide. Too much a Lose. Still not Legal in Az. But we will get the vote right next time. Grow STRONG... See ya on the board!!

I'm not legal either. Hemp is. Hope you go legal. Sessions is against pot and want mandatory minimums brought back.

I've never encountered one going herm from the moon.

New studies, ill have to dig them up, show its and enzyme or protein that cause one to herm. I don't recall the exact term. Its interesting stuff. Basically it how down to given the right conditions any of them can herm also that seeds from herms can be stable.

I grew bag and brick seeds for years before getting seeds from inner circles or ordering.

Plenty of fire in brick and bag seed.
