Help with bubbleponics badly

I REALLY NEED HELP WITH MY BUBBLEPONICS SYSTEM, I have a tetra 100, the plants are bout 2 weeks old, their roots are about 6-10 inches long, the bucket is 8 inches deep, 4 plants total in six holes, each has it's own bubble stone. I feel like there's something wrong as retarded as it sound. What am I going to do when the roots get bigger?

keep it bubbling or trim the roots lol.....


ok, don't trim the roots..... just let it do it's thing.

the WHOLE purpose is to let the roots grow INTO the water thats the meaning of DWC(deepwaterculture)DO NOT TRIM THE ROOTS!.It will turn into a big root MOP lookin beauty.

personally, i think it's easier.

i love dwc, only i am doing a shallow water culture instead. it is super easy to work with.

every week i take the cover off the res with the plants in it still, place them on a stand so the roots can simply hang freely and then i mist them off really good with the garden hose to help remove any accumulated salts.

then after that i completely dump out the res and scrub it and rinse for salts and algae too. then all new ph'd water and nutes and plop them back in. takes less than an hour a week.

i just added advanced nutrients voodoo juice this past saturday and i think the plants are loving it. i have a plant that grew 2 1/2 inches yesterday and has already grown 2 inches today!

I think shallow water culture discribes what I have better. It was a lot harder for me to figure out than the ebb and flow. I think that it's because I was just underestimating the vigor of this plant. Tell me how that voodoo stuff does in my grow journal. How much was it?
