So heres the problem...I just took 2 clippings from my mother plant and put them into my aerogarden to clone. About 15 mins after cutting one of them is wilting badly. What do I do? Is it normal?

Thanks everyone

damn, wilting after 15 minutes I thought I had problem when trying to clone in soil. Did you put rooting hormone? Did you cut 5-6 slices in 1 side and scrape the other? Did you push it firmly into the rooting medium? Did you let the nute levels get low before you took the cutting? Do you have ithem in complete darkness for a few days? Man you need to provide a lot more info than you have to get a decent response. Good luck though.

Be prepared, they will wilt for a few days. You may even get dead leaves. Dont stress, patience =) Just cloned 2. Wilted for 2 days. Then BANG all of a sudden they shoot. You'll see ;)

You made your final 45 degree cut UNDER the water right? An air bubble can get in the stem if you cut it wrong, it causes the plant to lose its ability to take up water, which causes wilting and death.

Yep i adjusted the stem in the rockwool and it shot right back up. I have domes on them and let them breath about 4 times a day. Looking very healthy and I think they will root within a few days. Thanks for the responses everyone.
