Help with diagnosis please

Hi,

Just wondering if someone can help me out, I'm a few weeks into flowering and I'm noticing white specs on my leafs. Not sure if the pictures are clear enough, if not I'll take a few more once I'm home from work.

Any help is appreciated.

3 weeks since I first saw the white hairs, had a look when I got home last night and I saw a few small yellow looking insects. What's the easiest/safest way to get rid of these?

I've ordered some neem oil apparently that works, I'll give it a go anyway. Thanks for the responses I appreciate all your help.

I recommend against spraying neem oil on plants that are in flower, particularly as much as those, it pretty much ruins the smoke, at least that was my experience

I would look into other products, sorry I can't help you with specifics, good luck

Edit: Actually you might use it on those plants now, but I wouldn't use it past the first month of 12/12 personally,

I found neen gave my buds a funny appearance and the smoke was dreadful, went right into the hash bin

Use whatever you decide very carefully. Leaves only. If you start spraying all over the buds, it will taste and smoke like shit. Won't be good for your health too and mind as well toss it. If it were in veg, different story. Seems more like aphids based on your description. Leaves only, luckily you don't have many to work with.

Yeah I cancled the order for the neem oil don't want to risk ruining the smoke after all that's the main thing right. I think I might go with Dr schimmels spider mite terminator, what are people's thoughts on this please? Once again thanks for the help and responses it is appreciated!

Try some spinosad insecticide in your waterings, use as directed, it won’t harm the smoke and it might take care of your pests! Spinosad is he safest insecticide on the market, I would almost drink it...almost. If it is not spider mites, but thrips for example, spinosad could work very well. Also try a silica supplement, mites don’t seem to like it and it can be beneficial to your plants.

I'm in the uk and spinosad doesn't seem to be available here, plus I can only seem to find silica supplements in tablet form :wall:

Might just sit in my greenhouse and smoke them out with a few joints :spew:

Looks like I'll have to try the Dr schimmels
