I dont know why you'd want a fan that small. I cant think if a good reason vs a normal 4" or 8" cpu fan, but if its what you got, its what you got. Just cut the head off the fan and strip the plastic away from the two wires. Then take an ac power adapter from anything. an 8 bit nintendo an old keyboard, anything that has a power block on it, and cut the head off the end of it and seperate the two wires, and strip the two wires coming. then simply join the wires from the power block into the wires from your fanand plug that shit my friend and your good. I used to use those small fans to cool my lcd when I was building ghetto projectors on lumenlab.

check the what volts the fan is and like the guy said above and find a nintendo or any ac adapter thats the same dc volts as the fan i burned two fans up the other day us trying to rig a dc fan to a ac outlet

Voltage is irrellevent unless taken to the extreme. Theres a little resistor soldered to the center of your fan that can crack if theres too much friction. But ive run them off of different voltages and I havent had one fail.. Yet. So anything thats household and small between 6 and 12 volts will do'ya good
