help with harvest and cure please

helllo, this is my first time growing and i have a plant that is 10 weeks adnn ready for harvest. since this is my first time i really dont want to mess it up at all.. so far i know i need to cut the plant and trim it down to bud.... from this point on i am wondering whether i need to keep the bud on the stems and hang them ? and if i do how long and with or without light... after that i remember my friend tellin me i gota put them n jars and i am wondering how long i will need to do this and how and whterh again lgiht or dark... any help would be very very much apreciated thanks alot guys

you can hang them with stem for approx. for days in dark cool place.seperate buds put in jar 3/4 way full put in dark cool place daily for first week open all jars 4 10 min. or so if its really wet take out jar for 1 day or so after a week of this open jar every 3 days or so for at least 2-3 weeks or longer.and the advanced search (top right hand of page) type drying or curing and it will hook you up with more detailed info.
