Help with harvest

Hi guys its been a while,

I posted pics of veg before and got some good feedback but i went away for 3 weeks when i switched to 12/12 and just never got around to altering the setup. I will for the next one though, shes 5 weeks into 12/12 and alot of hairs ar orange now my magnifying glass is really poor so no trichome resolution im afraid

Wanted to know what you thought of her(rebecca) in general and when she might be ready! Its my first grow. Sorry for the phone photos.

Not even close to ready yet. Be patient. You got a ways to go.
And ditch the aluminium foil.

Most mj takes atleast 8 weeks/60 days to finish up.

You've still got at least 3-4 weeks yet.
Are you counting 5 weeks since you've changed your light to 12/12?

Your flowering period starts when you see the sex of the plant.Not when you switch your lights. What kind of lights are you using...what are you feeding your plants?

Hey guys, im affraid my dick of a housemate who is by the way a major drug taker and waster has now said the FAINT smell of weed in the house embarressed him, when he brought two people over (who are also frequent hard drug takers) and now i have to find a solution which he said he wouldnt wait for and he reckons wont work or get rid of it, the annoying thing was he was all for it at the start then out of the blue he's bein a twat! My question is, what can i do to eliminate the smell and would it be smokable if were to cut it down?

What a dik!!
Just a few weeks or so and you could be smokin some fine herbs. If you can find a way to vent the cabinet exhaust outside that should take care of it. Then you could leave your grow room sealed up from the rest of the house.
If you have to cut it. It wont be near as good or get even close to as high as if you waited. It'll even taste kinda f'ud up. You look like you got some weight to it so its smokable but it sure looks like a good plant. I'd try to wait it out. If he makes you cut it... Say its the best shit you ever smoked.. And dont let him hit it.

That was the problem! I know that he'd be happy to smoke it and as if he's preachin to me about the thing i only smoke joints, dont do half the drugs he does.....anyway guys gooood new well kinda after me sayin what a dick he was for sayin he was alright with it then comin out with this...he's agreed two more weeks startin today so itll effectively be 8 weeks flower, but he said ill have to buy a shit load of plug in scen things, oh and once its done he's gettin squat! If it was something legal i wouldnt have backed down but i reckon he's the type to get one up and shop me to the cops. Im going to be sealing up my next one and making filtered exhaust for it WITH A DIFFERENT FLAT MATE. The pics are today. One other Q if i cant see the trich's well when should i harvest?

Sorry CdnBUd i meant to post a reply last night but it said 'permission denied'. She's under a 125w cfl with reflector up top and surrounded by 3 20w cfls with reflectors at the sides. I was using miracle grow in small doses and twice during the flowering (week 2 and 4) ive given her GROWTEK blossom blaster (i got it for $2 for 5 grams of ebay). I also replaced the top layer of soil once a month whilst in veg and i done it once in flower. TOP TIP Oh i know im telling the masters here but meh i use this for cleaning too (well i make stronger stuff in the lab haha) get some zoflora antibacteral cleaner and wipe it over your radiators even with the slightest heat it gives off a strong smell (of whatever perfume you bought in) works well on windows too when the suns on them, other stuff works but zoflora clings for ages. Its how ive masked the smell tonight and ill do it once a week.

your plant is look good! srry to hear bout the roommate. but if you cant get a good scope a good way to tell when to chop, is the red hairs will recede into the buds. you deffinatly will see it when it starts to happen haha it'll start lookn more like weed ya buy ya kno.

Good news man.
What you need to see your trichromes is a 30x zoom magnifier or better. You can pick em up at any radio shack or hydro store for about $20 or less.
The trichs are prolly pretty clear right now. They will go cloudy then start to change to amber. Once they start to amber.. Its time. Around this time your main feeder leaves will be losing their color. The plant will eat up the nutrients in them and they will start to die off. This is sure sign of a plant finishing up. If you only got 2 weeks though.. You may not see any of this happen.

He has totally changed his tune! Spoke to another mutual friend and he said 'ahhhh just tell him to fuck off' he gets like that ha. Serious the guys 25 and i reckon he was gonna shop me if he didnt get his way, someone needs to grow up to be honest...i think i can convince him to keep on with it, i bought these plug in things one for each room and now were choking on lavender haha so he's let off some steam but trust me i live on a really really bad street where there are more things for the police to worry about he's really paranoid. Anyway! im gonna go on ebay and pick up a better magnifier after your advice Mr. Blue and thanks for the thread link v. detailed. Ill keep posting pics even though my phone wont show too much change, but ill keep you all updated untill harvest. I hope you stay to see the results. The funny thing is i was ordering acid for my research and in the catalogue i can order THC 99.9% purity haha its deuterated though and theyd be on me in a second but thought it was funny.

man.... u gotta get tht kid in ur grow room, n snap a pic of him next to the plant. a week or so later jus make it apparent he also will b arrested and charged if he even dreams of talking to a cop. proof tht he knows of it, (and on a cell they wud know the date it wus taken) wud make him JUST as guilty as you for letting it go on. *guilty by association* im sure he'd wipe those tears from his twat n calm down =]

Here she is t'day guys, the parts of the top cola have all merged and are very dense so its made it look like one huge bud! Even the little ones are packin on weight and going really crystally. Im so happy! Peace
