i dont have a scope to check trichs myself, so i usually go by when the pistils start to recede into the buds, and i dont see any white ones. then i wait a week =]

Thanks alot Bagz, to be honest...he had calmed down a little then as soooon as i mentioned smokin' joints, it was as if he'd never said anything hahaha. Quote "oh well theres no point spoiling it if theres only two or so weeks left, i thought it was going to be months!"........even though i told the douchebag a rough timescale even before i bought the seeds! I guess it just some people huh? Im not living with him next year anyway. Ill be building a small stealth box for the next house so no one knows. Ive bought all the parts except for the mylar, im gonna start a journal with the building and ask advice as i go along. Peace

Hey dude, yeah ive seen loads of ideas but ive had my mind set on one i drew up a while ago (dont really get much else done when i think about the lil' project ahaha) ive taken a couple ideas on carbon filters though.

Right guys i think its over, ive watered her excessively tonight to flush out any inwanted's, although she hasnt had nutes for around 4 weeks now anyway. So i was wondering what do i do now? I was planning on just leaving her to go along as normal, without water, until sunday then giving her the snip, how does that sound? Ive posted some crappy cell pics again, sadly my microscope still isnt here but oh well the orange hairs are around 80% and i wouldnt mind a mix between buzz and couch lock.......so what do i do? Just to add the only place where the white pistils are still quite prominet is on the very top of the main kola, but, even with my shitty magnifying glass you can see amber trichs on the leaves next to theses hairs. Peace.

well with still having white hairs, she could go another week or 2 to ripen up. but chopping on sunday would be good =]
iv come to realize that if you chop the day after a good water the buds stay wet longer, and make for a better cure. but if your just looking to get stoned already sounds like you got a good lil plan my friend =]

to be honest jumbo its because my tenancy is up in maybe a month so i dont want anything lingering and i want it all cured by then, if you think watering then chopping helps ill go with that she'll definately need watering on fri, so based on our new hybrid plan id say ill water her again maybe fri then mon night, then harvest tues! I can give it two more days and what you have said makes sense, ill listen to the pro's! Like to thank every body again for all the input and comments, especially jumboSWISHER. Ill keep the pics until the end and make sure i record the weights wet and dry. Oh i forgot to say, as im a researcher for Chemical facility i wont mention he he, so i brought home some analytical grade acetone 100%, just enough to make some hash oil from the trimmings, got me some jars too, so ill put all the pics up of that aswell. Im sorry to say, no harvest pics yet, as i was so busy at work this week ive not had enough time set aside, but....i also noticed what i thought was more hair growth! Just when i thought she was winding down! The 28th of May is the day of harvest for absolute sure now. So she has 7 more days one thing i wanted an opinion on is just how to dry it. I have 2 options i can hang it in the closet where she was growing or in the pics i have posted i made a lil' make shift dryer, my two pc fans go either side to keep the airflow up. So yeah any tips on drying once she chopped would be great. Peace.

Hello everyone! Today the day i chopped Rebecca down (RIP) time to scatter her ashes! (after smoking her of course haha) ill weigh her when dry and repost. Ive put pics on of all the harvest, ive put most of it in a drying box but some ive hung up for slower drying. Ive got a huge bag of trimmings that were covered in trichomes and a bag that wasnt. Is the second bag any use? The first is being used to make hash oil. The top cola is 12 inches roughly the ruler in pic is just over 12. I know she was harvested early but i had too, i hope its still good. Theres some high res pics of the buds too. Any comments and questions as always are welcome. The crop after the cure came in at 75.6 grams if anyones interested. That was after all the buds were picked of there main stalks and cured in glass jars for god knows how long. The smoke was the best I've had in years it was a one joint wonder (i was totally fucked) i had four friends come to visit who all said the same. Any friends who aquired some quickly came back, it was very dodgy to transport the smell could not be contained (which i was really proud of hahaha). I kept the crystally cut off's and ground them and kept them. I kept the best of the sun leaves in a brown paper bag to dry. A took a handful of the ground for when the bud was gone the rest i dissolved in acetone and with a coffee cafitier was able to obtain just over two grams of a gold/brown tar like substance which also got us fucked! The dried leaves were given to some of my friends as a tobacco substitute (as they didnt have the amount of bud i did to spare) and said it was such a good smoke, really smooth so top tip if you wanna save your bud. The ground stuff after the bud was still good to smoke just took 2-2.5 joints to get toasted.
