+1Well, I can only speak about TastyLED and I know he knows his stuff. I opened my lamp and looked at his build quality. I learned from him. I don't think any sellers on this forum sell a lamp that is dangerous, that would be foolish if you're business is to sell lamps. Bottom line, TastyLED is safe. i"m sure PLC, Timber, HLG and others are in the same class. I've also made many (maybe dumb) questions to TastyLED about DIY and he's very helpful, though he doesn't have to be. That impresses me.
They may have stopped production.I see the 3p but not seeing the t33.
im an outdoor guy moving in,so im pretty green to indoor lighting.i veg under t5(6500k) and flower under 3k(just went12/12 last week).from what i understand, having a significant swing from veg k's to flower k,can increase stretch(i dont want). i was thinking about building a cob set up using lower k,but ive also heard lower k during veg can space nodes out.are you concerned about this with your 4k veg setup?thanks for any tips.+1
Kevin and Rahz have been very helpful.
I will be doing business with TastyLED.com in the future.

I built a Mini-T3P from the TastyLED.com DIY section. 210W, 4000K COB for veg and two 3000K COBs for flowering. Two drivers instead of one so I can manipulate the spectrums independently.
This is the first time I've ever seen anyone do this, I'm interested to see how well it works.

The graph is for the Vero 29 Gen 7 C-SE variant. ~70W each at 1050mA from TastyLED.com
Yes, stretch is a concern.
The 4000K has plenty of red in it, essentially I could veg and flower with just 4000K.
I've used T-5 only for veg before, I couldn't give any insight into flowering with them.
Nope, don't know anything about the quality of that one. I wasn't knocking the quality of the tent in the combo set either, just all of the other cheap components packaged together. I have a very old Sky Enterprises tent that I like, it's about 10 years old and is still holding up very well. But they are no longer in business. I have a Gorilla Lite tent that is good. I had a Secret Jardin tent, I wouldn't recommend those at all, they are made very cheaply and they are overpriced. All of the connectors for the poles are cheap plastic.I've been looking at VivoSun tents on Amazon and they seem pretty good, any info on VivoSun quality?
+1HTGsupply 2x4 tent is 28"x52" for 10 sq/ft of space. Decent quality and roomy for a 2x4.
