Yeah. That's the one I ordered. Should be here soon.

There may be better values, but I wouldn't say it's a bad light. It's a good driver with dimming so unless the PCB is really junk or the diodes aren't 301B, it's probably not so bad. They don't give good info on the spectrum, the ratio of 5k to 3k is probably high and that crappy graph shows a lot of blue, but who knows if it's even from that light. You can probably get good idea by just comparing to screw-in LEDs of different color temperatures. The warranty may be worthless or nearly so, but that's normal with cheap lights.Oh...I thought it was 1000W. That's the claim, anyway. Geeze...I hope I didn't just buy a bad one? I already own one of those. lol.
Get an adapterThe light came, today. Sorry, I have no way to measure it. I CAN tell you that it is heavy and VERY sturdy with good quality hanging gear. The light itself is crazy bright compared to the old one. I have no idea how far away or how "Dim" I need to make the dimmer...but one issue at a time.
Sadly, the plug is 3 prong and my timer is only 2 so I'm going to need a new timer. Either way...I'll keep you guys updated on how the grow goes.
Until then, here is the light spectrum chart that came with it. Is this any good?

Oh...sorry, I should have been more clear. I'm in Canada and we have the same plugs as the U.S. The issue is, some products are sold with smaller wires and two prongs and others are sold with larger wires and three prongs. I just went ahead and ordered a 3 prong timer, from Amazon, for $12.Get an adapter
Good news is WalFart accept returns if you are not happy .Sorry guys, I didn't mean to start any arguments. They way I look at it, The majority of folks here said the "Walmart" light was a good one and I've learned to trust the folks here. Will it give me maximum yield? I'm guessing not. BUT, I'd bet money that it will do WAY better than the 19 Watt I was using (Am currently using on a seedling, as I type this). I needed a new light, right away, and if this will bring me a higher yield than the 19 Watt did, I will consider it a success. The light is supposed to be here either today or tomorrow. I'll let you guys know how it turns out.
Oh yeah. Please don't get me wrong. I am NOT that guy who buys what is suggested and then complains that you guys "made" me get the wrong one. In the end, it was my choice to get that one. If it sucks, it's my fault and no one else's. However, I think this is going to be miles ahead of my old one so...no complaints here.Good news is WalFart accept returns if you are not happy .
If you are looking for decent entry boards ... in case you are looking for options...Oh yeah. Please don't get me wrong. The one I bought is almost identical to those specs. 100W, LM301b diodes, IR and a Meanwell driver.SF1000 V2 ( 100w ) with dimmer and daisy chain upgradable via jumper cable ( included ) to pair more boards together. LM301b diodes and IR / meanwell.
Thats because it is the same thing , just a "knock off brand" ....no big deal....If the diodes are real samsungs then you got a good deal.... if they are fake and work , you still got an ok deal....you will love it!The one I bought is almost identical to those specs. 100W, LM301b diodes, IR and a Meanwell driver.
Thanks, man!You were givin an option of 240w boards (2 of what you have ) for 89 bucks. Thats the only deal out there thats going to beat yours but its from china and some folks dont like um.
If you decide to upgrade then check out mejui or kingbright on alibaba. 480w boards for 200 bucks right now. Or in my opinion , several of the 240 kits are even better...
Download a free lux app for your phone.Well...the light came with a "Distance chart" for how high above the plant it should be a different growth stages. I can do that...but what the heck is the dimmer for? How would I know that it's too bright?
Do you know of one that does not limit to a low number ? Mine maxes out under any light i put it under. ThanksDownload a free lux app for your phone.
If you use something on your phone , get a measurment of the old light to compare with. The dimmer is if you have no room to raise the light. Them apps only work if you use the same one and have something to compare it to.Well...the light came with a "Distance chart" for how high above the plant it should be a different growth stages.
