you wont grow anything with 1 cfl and 1 spotlight. just go to a hardware store, there right by the light bulbs.
How many watts is the cfl?

14w is a tiny cfl... like the one of the smallest made. it replaces a 40w lamp.
your going to need alot more lighting than that./ ditch the spot light as well, and get 2 43w daylight (4000k) cfl's
the adapter your looking for is called a y socket adapter

I'm 99% sure if you went to any hardware store and asked something to plug a damn light bulb in that they will show you some that might fit your needs. Unless your hardware stores you have don't have 3 people asking if you need some help finding something. Then 2 minutes later another comes and asks if you found what your looking for. I'm sure you can talk to store clerks without them asking what you want to do with it... Tho I went to NAPA (UAP) and they actually asked me if I was growin (because I knew the ones workin, still said no) when I wanted to buy some wire.

I picked up the socket-to-outlet adapter in the electrical supply section of Home Depot. It was in the same section spools of copper wire, wire cutters, and other socket/light accessories were. I've read around the forums that they may be hard to find, so I guess it really depends on where you're located. I'd check every hardware store you can. If you really want to go that route you may be able to order them online, too. You should see about getting someone who knows how to do a bit of electrical work to show you how to create a circuit with proper ceramic sockets and copper wire. You could build something totally customized and not have to worry about spending a bunch on a fixture that may not fit as ideally into your space as you'd like. I just made one, PM me for any other details! Happy hunting!!!

Are you able to remove that box that's in the upper right? It's taking up a lot of valuable real estate. It'd be ideal to have the light source located above the plants to start so the stems grow straight and strong. The plant on the right may have a stretched stalk with the current set up, but if you could mirror what's going on on the left you'd be all set! You should be all set as far as amount of light and ventilation goes, though! May want to get a thermometer/hygrometer to monitor temps.:bigjoint:
