Help with my aero system!!

This is my first post but I need help. I have a homemade rubbermaid aeroponic system and today I changed the water. Everything was fine before but now water will not come out of the sprayers. I tried cleaning the sprayers and even the pump filter and water will still not spray. I have four ak48 plants a week into flowering and I do not want my babies roots to dry out. This is my first grow and could really use some help.

relax.. i will try to help.. but posting some pics of the system will make it easier for all of us to help you. First you should check to see if the pump starts or attempts to pump water... disconnect it from the system put it in a bucket of water..to see if water is flowing from it. more than likely its something to do with the pump...also try a different outlet

Hey klepto thanks for the response. The pump does run and pumps water, but when I connect the PVC with the sprayers to the pump water just dribbles out of them. I even made sure the PVC was firmly connected to the pump. I will be back home in about an hour and I will take some pictures and put them up. Is there anything else I can tell you that might help until I can get pictures up?

so it did spray at first ? and when you changed water it stopped working? or did it never spray to begin with? and did you build this yourself or buy it somewhere? if you bought it .. lemme know from where and which model it is... and if you built it yourself .. what kinda pump did you get and how many sprayers do you have?

Okay. I bought my system (stupidly) off ebay. It is a 6 plant hydro/aero system. I attached a picture of the pump and the whole set up. The pump has been working fine for the entire grow but then today after I changed the water the sprayers will not spray. The pump works(it is a 20 gph). I do not know what to do. I keep splashing water on the upper parts of the roots hoping that will help until i can this situation is resolved.

Do you have a spare pump ?

I would see if the impeller is damaged.
Take the impeller out and inspect it..

That pump looks identical to the one I use for my fish tank. They are cheap already replaced one after a little under a year. You can get that pump at pet store. Better off getting better pump if motor crapped like mine did( still pumps but barely and no damage to impeller)

Good Luck

yeah..the setup is pretty simple... either your sprayers are clogged or the pump is damaged and its probably the of those. Disconnect the pump from the setup and take it to a pet store... the will sell the pumps under the aquarium section and get one that has a similar connection on it...your really need a pump more than 20 GPH. they are not that expensive...hope that helps
