Help with my questions and I buy you 3 months RIU elite account <3

OK, so here's the deal. I just got my redcard in Colorado and am allowed to grow 6 plants. This is the first time I have ever been legally allowed to grow or use marijuana and I am excited and ready to go. I hope to be up and running by Tues next week, so I need to get my shit together and figure out what I'm going to do.
As for who gets the 3 months of RIU Elite, I guess I'll just pick whoever gave what seems like the best answers in a couple days. I can send you paypal or maybe I just send it to a mod/admin or whatever and they can set you up. Just wanted to offer something in exchange for your help rather then ask a bunch of stupid shit that everyone has probably answered 1000 times over already.

4' x 4' x 8' Grow Tent = already purchased

clones = will have Tuesday, already talked to the seller

lights = trying to figure it out, need help...

fertilizers and soil and everything else = need help..

Question 1
For lights, should I attempt a 1000w? Or is it just a bad idea? I have grown with 1000w before in a medium size bathroom and it was hot as shit even with good ceiling ventilation so I know what kind of heat to expect. Question is, if I use one of those housing exhaust tubes that literally takes the heat directly from the inside of the light housing, will that work? I am unaware of how efficient that type of heat exhaust is since I have never used it. So, go for the 1000w or just be safe and use 600w? This is only my second serious grow, so I am still a huge noob.

Depending on how big of an issue the heat is going to be I may not be technically ready to deal with such a thing just yet.

Question 2
Let's say I do go with 1000w. I have been told you can pretty much expect 1lb per 1000w and it doesn't matter if you jam 10 plants under the 1000w or you just have 1 plant, it will basically yield the same amount. Is this true?

Question 3
Continuing from the question above, is there anyway to squeeze more weight out of a 1000w? Perhaps a SOG? Or a vertical type grow? Any grows that will allow me to get more than the average weight out of a 1000w light? Keep in mind it will need to remain in the 4x4x8 grow tent size I have.

Question 4
I'm guessing a tall sativa is best for a SOG since it grows taller and is easier to tie down to the screen? Or am I wrong?

Question 5
I found this thread earlier tonight while looking for vegging box/room ideas. I don't know if I am just high or what, but this seems like a brilliant idea. If you take the cage and flip it long ways it will stand a solid 4-5 feet tall. Then, ziptie some long flouro lights to each of the 4 corners of the cage and all the sudden you have a sick little veg box. You could even put tinfoil or some other reflective shit on the inside for added efficiency. Thoughts on this idea? Am I too high, or would this not be perfect for a vegging box?

Question 6
What's the best way to store weed? Since I am now allowed to legally buy and keep 2oz marijuana, I'd like to keep 50 or so different kinds of weed at 1gram each. But how can I store it and keep it nice and soft? The stuff I have now has already starting to get dried out and brittle. What about something like this? Or anything else that may be better? I could just put it in the freezer I guess, but I'd like it to have the fluffy soft feel. I don't wanna get mold, but I don't want the stuff turning to dust when I touch it either because it's so brittle.

Question 7
I am planning on using FoxFarm nutes, that's what I used like 10 years ago when I grew the first time. Is it still the best or considered one of the best? Or is there something else I should be looking at?

Question 8
For soil, I need recommendations.

Question 9
Do I need vitamins? I used vitamins last time I grew but I forgot the name. It was a bottle that looked like this on the outside: http://www.milliondollarhomepage.com/
I think it was really good stuff, just can't remember the name. Anyone know what I'm talking about? What should I use for vitamins?Last Question
I have been thinking about putting a small/medium size fish in each pot when I transfer the plants to their final 3gal or larger pots for budding. Thoughts? I know fish is a great fertilizer and it's natural. So what if I did this, would there be any negative consequences? I feel like doing this would give the plant as much food as it needs but I wont have to worry about burning the plant either with too much chems.

question #9, is called superthrive. although i have heard of people using it throughout there grow. i personally only use it every time i transplant.
need to know what kind of clones your going to be working with.

#1 I already answered in that other thread, go with a dimmable 1kw if you're SURE you can even handle the heat at 50 percent power.

air cooled hood of course, phantom ballast, hortilux hps, get a LED for veg(they're great for that), if can't swing the LED any metal halide bulb will do generally, I'd push hortilux MH bulbs too but can't see spending the extra dollars, now the hps will ALWAYS be hortilux in my room.

hey frog, hows it hanging??
#3 and 4 you're confusing SOG with SCROG. if you're worried about plant count don't even consider SOG.

# 9 , b-52 by advanced nutrients but some would say you're wasting your money on any b vitamin at all.

Wow I have so many questions it's not funny. You want this done in 4 days and don't have much more then a tent. You got alot of reading and setting up to do. I would realy but the clone order off a week or so. So is it 6 plants total? Fo you plan on growing all 6 at the same time? Are you going to set up a area to clone and veg and have 2 in flower? This will deside your lights. And that will deside you fans. But the only thing I can say for sure is first time growing go soil. I like happy frog from rooted clones to 1gallon pots. Then use FFOF. And you won't need to use any nutes till the last few weeks. Let's just start at the begining and go from there. So how many plants total can you grow. That will say how many in flower you can have. And we can go from there. But do some reading you are in the right section to look at how many of us have set up rooms. But before we jump down on you. I'll give a warning. We are here to help not setup and grow for you. You asked basic questions that are found on this site. Most are posted every day. So you must read and get basic knowledge.

Colorado law states 3 in veg and 3 producing (in flower).

well that's a starting point. Here every county is different. I would simply split the tent in 2. Use panda plastic to devid the rooms. Use a 600 in the 4x4 flower room with a 400cfm fan and filter. In the veg side use T5 or a 250w hid. Depending on temp you might not need more then a 160cfm 6" booster fan. Once you deside how you want to set it up it's a good idea to run it full blown for 24/48 hours. That way you can watch your temps without plants dying. If it all works great then start if not fix the problem first. I also have another idea if you plan on doing SCROG. But you must deside soon because it's 2 different setups.

I forgot all about him having to keep 3 and 3. I have more than one card in the house and also an edibles rec but stick to less than the rec actually covers.

Oops I misread the tent size. Thought it said 4x8x8. Your tent will be fine for 3 plants under a 600. But Db is right get another tent. And if you want to SCROG get one the same size. And 2 600/400 dimmable ballests. That way you can always have one in veg with a 400 and the other in flower with 600. And switch bulbs not plants.

I suggested 1kw dimmable in case he ever wants to expand a bit but 2 600 watt dimmable would be better possibly , IF he can't afford a LED for veg.

and OP, get with poly about any pest situation (and there will be) , he like owns every toxic chemical known to man.

With the 600/400 he would only be running 1000w of light at anytime. But able to use each tent as a flower and veg area. And my clones don't like anything over 400 so that's why I said that. Same lights just switch bulb and the dim switch.
