Help with my yellowing problem

I would really appreciate any help anyone can provide.
I started these from seed Jan 4. Once they began I used Sensi-grow two part nutrient formula. The leaves on two of the four have gone yellow in colour. I was just hoping to save them before it is too late. I water them with the formula blend (2ml per litre) for the big ones, and 1ml per litre for the struggling ones, once a day. I also have a small fan running all day. The light system is a t8 fluorescent fixture, plus an extra cfl bulb. I want to keep the lighing system simple, as the room I have is very small. Let me know if you have any suggestions or can solve my problem.

Also why do you water everyday? Thats way to much.

Soil is ground up coconut husk. I'm not sure of the PH. I suppose I should get a test kit to closely monitor it. It is a bit chilled in this room as their is a dryer vent that goes directly outside. It being the winter, the pipe cools the whole room down even though it isn't a direct port outside. I would say it is about 17 or 18 degrees at the worst of times, and 21 for the most part. I only water with about 50-80ml of the mix

CoCo assumes the PH of the nute/water that goes into it. (unless you supplemented it with lime)

So, you either have nute lockout from improper PH or if your ph is correct then those plants are seriously hungry. (I am guessing seriously hungry due to the purple leaf stems and veins and yellowing leafs.)

Get a PH meter. Its a wise investment for this hobby.

Would the PH vary from pot to pot even though the medium all came from the same bag? I guess that the PH changes throughout the life cycle of the plant. I will grab one tomorrow. In the case that the plays are hungry, what do you suggest? Increased nutrion formula?

Get your ph right before increasing nutes. Otherwise you just go from one problem to the next brother. With coco I would aim for a water/nute solution in the range of 6.2 to 6.5 before dumping it in. After you add the water/nutes collect a little bit of runoff from it and check to see what the PH is coming out the bottom of the pots. It will give you some kind of idea as to what the coco is doing to the PH of the solution you put in the top.

no nutes for the first 2 weeks for seedlings.yr lighting may be simple, but inadequate. yr yield will be small and fluffy. fluffy is only good for pillows my friend

I picked up another T8 light... I am very limited in space is the main problem. Going to pick up moisture meter and ph tester today.

Ok... I did a PH test this evening. It worked out to be around 6.2-6.5

Popped the soil moisture meter in. It reads at about half in the dry zone. The meter calls for that type of dryness before watering. Mind you I didn't water them this morning (therefore making it two days since watering, compared to the original every day). For fun I put the meter in the healthy ones, and it read the same thing even though I watered them a bit this morning. They just be consuming that much water I suppose.

Any insite?

With possible PH issues out of the way we can safely say its time to up the nutes.

N and P deficient. re-pot into a nice, light potting soil or grower's mix. Coir needs to be treated like hydro, not soil.

bro by the time u buy enough flouro's to get enough light, u could have bought an hps. dnt get me wrong, u cant go wrong w the lights u got now. u will be able to use them down the road for propagation and veg and what not. my point is this- when u start to flower u will find that the flouro's are inadequate and u will need more light. dnt make the mistake that a lot of people make of trying to add more and more flouros to get more light. hps lights are pound for pound the most efficient. they are actually cheaper to run than flouro's lumen for lumen. so save up, bite the big one, and get an hps on yr next big purchase.

For sure. I know it is the 'weakest link.' I inquired on some pricing yesterday for different type of lamps etc etc. Oddly enough adding the extra light for the day made one of the plants grab for the light (the leaves are strongly pointed upwards, in a healthy way). I definitely want to upgrade the lights first thing. I also am looking into carbon filters to keep the smell down. I have a 4" duct that goes directly outside, so I could attach the filter straight through that.

good call on the filter. ya flouros are great for veg. i have a t8 2 bulb (shop light $20) that i use for my mothers. i have a 150w cfl for cloning, and i have a 6 bulb t5 h.o. that i use for veg, and i have 2 1000w hps in 2 separate tents that i flower with. one is a lumatek dimmable. it dnt get no better than that. its taken a while to get all the shit i got, but once u get that 1st big harvest, its all worth it.

you can cut the tips off the lower leaves to get new growth, maybe try an incandescent plant bulb from home depot (10 bucks) it should fit where the cfl goes 75 or 120 watt are good.
