Need some guidance with new setup.
Trying to setup new grow and need some opinions please! I am getting a 3x3 hydrohut silver edition which is actually 3.3x3.3. I will be using organic supersoil 2 plants in SCROG. I want to use a 1000 watt hps for flowering in an air-cooled hood; this would give me 91 watts/ft2. Most people advise against this due to heat issues but there are some who pull it off with serious results. My tent will be inside of my walk-in closet. My plan is to have 3 different exhausts and I am wondering if this sounds like it would be enough to make the 1000 watt work: 1 six inch inline fan just for the air cooled reflector (or possibly a 8 inch with speed control), 1 six inch inline fan w/ carbon filter exhausting the tent into the closet, then a 4 inch inline fan with no ducting on the roof of the closet exchanging the air in the entire closet 1 time per minute so that the air doesn't get recycled back into the tent too much. The hole in the roof of the closet is only about 4 inches wide so it wouldn't really work to vent straight from the tent out of the roof of the closet because the hole isn't big enough. The house thermostat stays around 76. Are my hopes of cooling this light too high? I only have room for the 3x3 tent, and the possible yield of <2 lb. rather than <1lb. just sounds so appealing with the 1000 watt. I will be using sub cool's higher yielding supersoil organic recipe in air pots for a low maintenance "just add water grow", northernberry strain. Is 3 ounces per square foot of scrog with a 1000 watt 90 watt/square foot possible? I know it is high, but most people don't use so much light. Should I just save the trouble and go with a 600 watt? Could I get a pound from the 600 even with organic soil? With sub cool's recipe there really should be no reason for deficiencies or other problems. With air pots I should be a step ahead of the game on my root system. My water will be super high quality water from a Berkey filter (takes out all the bad stuff but leaves the good minerals in). I have a few more weeks to decide on my new grow room setup and just can't seem to make my final decisions. Any input is appreciated.

It dose not matter how much air you move threw your tent if you are just dumping it in the closet. You will find that to do what you are looking for you will need to push the air out of your closet. You will need to find a new cool air from some where. What would help best is to see what you got going on.. Or at lest a concept drawing...

I don't have anything going on lol trying to plan it. I was thinking about dumping it into the closet, but also putting a separate exhaust fan on the ceiling in the closet that would be sucking air from the house into the closet and also sucking the hot air from the closet up into the attic. The problem that I am having is that the hole that is in the ceiling is only about 4 or 5 inches wide. So this wouldn't really be big enough to just hook up ducting from the tent to the hole. Hmmm... but I suppose I could just make my own hole and fix it when I move out. I want my closet to be quiet though. If I connected ducting through the ceiling and actually placed the exhaust fans inside of the attic, do you think they would still be loud? Or maybe I should just go big and convert my entire 5x5 closet. My only problem is the exhaust/noise.

You honestly what as much space as you can get. I have a full sized bedroom running right next to my neighbors. You can get a cheap $27 speed controller. That helps keep a big fan quit. Then you can just pull the hole closets air into the attic. Then just seal up the door with some weather striping and make sure that you have a fresh air intake (hole in the door. And it is cheap to fix holes in any thing. Just takes a few joints and your good.
