good tip... this is the medium I have used in the past and flushed it just the same and I always use lime but the thing with me is I never know how much to use. I amended with lime when I mixed up these 7 gallon pots
When i use it at the start of a grow..i mix in one tablespoon per gallon of medium. (I have the pellets, not a granular form of dolomite.

Yeah I have the granular lime... well now I don't know.how much lime I have in medium but hypothetecicly if I have 7 gallon pots then I should add 7 tablespoons of lime? Well like 6 1/2 because they are not all the way filled to the top

my medium is prob only 30% peat moss. It's def heavier on the soil side. I'd say 50 soil, 30% peat, and 20% perlite. I did a runoff test before I did the flush and I got the same ph coming out as I put in so I duno. I need to order somemore calibration solution for my Milwaukee mw802 multimeter to make sure it's accurate

now I'm thinking the symptoms are a combination of light heat with too much air blowing straight down on my top canopy from 2 desk fans hanging next to my lights without oscillating and this causing my RH to be too low. Not sure what the RH has been because I had my hygrometer in my jars with my curing buds but I have turned off the fans and sprayed down all my plants with water and placed my hygrometer right at canopy level so hopefully in 2 or 3 days I can see a difference in health and say I figured out the issue. So heat with too much wind and low RH as a result may be the problem. Comments??? experiences???
